I have been accommodating here every month over the past year, and I can recommend this place as a very good value for money. The owners are friendly, the place is clean enough and you have your own microwave, fridge, waterheater and tv. If you are looking for a casual place to stay, this might be your choise. You'll get your own key and can come and go as you wish. They have some double rooms with twin beds and some singles, also a bigger appartment with a kitchen for groups (accommodates 4). Smoking outside in the garden, shared showers and toilet in most of the rooms. ||||There are a small shop and a cafe nearby, also the campus area to get some budget, but supebly good food! ||||This place is a popular spot for students and both them and the overnight workmen might keep you up while drinking beer...but usually they will get quiet after 23.00. ||||The only minus is the distance from city centre (20-30min walk) but on the other hand, you will be staying in the normal Finnish living area (small wooden houses), where you can get wonderful opportunities to walk outdoors...

Also coffee, tee and some cereals are provided by the house. There's two bathrooms which are very roomy. The other one has a bubble bath for guest use, but we didn't try it out. I understood that they also have couple of rooms with own bathrooms, but we had no problems with the shared baths as they were very tidy.||||The desk was very welcoming and friendly. We were traveling with a guide-dog and everything went very smoothly. There were also very nice walking routes around the place and free parking...
Read moreFriendly check-in staff. Had communal kitchen that had all the normal kitchen items. Also a small fridge and a sink in the room. The toilets and shower are shared between the rooms.
Had basic breakfast items on the house, plus free parking, although it was limited to the first ones to find an empty parking space. Okay beds, although could've used blackout curtains. Decent budget prices.
Located about 1,5km from the city center, which makes it good starting point for...
