Happy Fox Oy — Hotel in Rovaniemi sub-region

We booked Arctic Extreme Ice Swimming and Sauna for 6 people. Sauna is not equipped to accommodate 6 people.There was no place to change clothes, tiny corridor leading to sauna can fit the most TWO very skinny and small people. There was nor sitting area, no shower, no toilet. Unfortunately, there was no description of the sauna on the website, and we assumed that all listed facilities are there (as it always the case everywhere else). In addition, we experienced extreme rudeness and inhospitality from the owners of the place.We came 15 min earlier and they told us right away that we would have to leave earlier. That was fine by us, but very unpleasant to hear as a first statement , instead of "Welcome !" . Out ticket clearly indicated that duration of the activity 3 hours, no pick up provided. In 1 hour toward the activity the owner told us to come out from the sauna. On question why that early if out ticket says 3 hour activity, he said it is always like that, and called his wife! When she arrived, she started to scream, and curse at us, forcing us to leave.(I am not sure how they expect 6 people to change the clothes one by one ,then enjoy the sauna, then put the clothes back in 1 hour time frame???) Total time we spent at the farm was 1hour 50 min from door to door! Sad, disappointed, frustrated , with bitter taste from such...

We are a family of 4 and booked a room in the Villa for 4 nights.||Our luggage got lost by the airline which made us arrive late but Mika was waiting for us and making our arrival much easier.||The Villa is 15’ drive from Rovaniemi hotel but far enough to make you feel the finnish nature. Bette to rent a car.||Mika and Kristina made our stay as being at home. The Villa is pretty cozy and quite new. There are 4 rooms in total which makes it very intimate. Rooms are very well equipped and breakfast very well supplied the day before.||The Villa is an owned forest and nearby a river and is provided with plenty of activities: sledges, ice fishing, sauna, aurora borealis searching, campfire, …||Mika and Kristina helped us with local tips and a warm smile.||We will try to come back!!...

Absolutely fantastic ! , we only booked the Family Fun day and the kids loved it. The staff is super friendly and extremely helpful. We did some sledging with different scooters and sledges, skiing, kids snowmobiles, try ice fishing, nice trail across the forest and all along the river in wooden sledge , some nature explanation and ate some nice sausages inside by the fire and some hot berry juice .
