Riverside Luxury Suites — Hotel in Rovaniemi sub-region

This place was incredible! It had every amenity you could possibly wish for. Really warm, welcoming and spacious. We stayed as a family of 4 and had an amazing time!! The location was close to all the nearby attractions like santa park, santa village and the airport. It was beautifully decorated and so peaceful. We loved the sauna and toasting marshmallows on the fire pit near the lake. My 6 and 9 year old had a blast playing in the snow and at the small on-site park and we loved the festive feel of the log burning fire and our very own christmas tree. We had a covered parking space for our rented car and did some shopping at the nearby Lidl to make the most of the kitchen facilities, (although it was already pre-stoked with things like coffee, tea, herbs and seasoning which was an added bonus). We spend our frist time in Rovaniemi with our 5 month old daughter. Transfer: From the airport to the house you need about 10 minutes by car. House: Wow! It's amazing! From the first minute we feel like home in our holidays. Everything is very clean and the huge window with a door to the garden and with a terrace makes the living room bright. It's a open kitchen to the living room so you can cook with couple of people. In the kitchen the equipment was high quality, and has all you need to cook small dinners. There is also a little eating area. You also have a sofa, 2 seats and a stack to make a fire. The sauna is super! It takes about 45 minutes to get hot. Next to it is a double shower and also a door to the garden. There is one master bedroom and two twin bed rooms. Good to know is, you can see the aurora borealis right from the garden! If I could give this property 6 stars I would. We stayed here in December on our dream trip to Lapland as a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 5 and 6. The location, quality and finish of the property is just amazing. There's so much space where we could hang and dry all our bulky, wet clothes then cosy round the fire. We loved all the extra special touches like the Christmas tree, sledges and outdoor toys for the kids, a little play park outside, hot chocolate and a fab sauna.
