Iisalmen Seurahuone — Hotel in Upper Savonia

The room was comfortable, tidy and clean, well laid out. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The windows were not the best, they rattled in the frames with the wind, let in a lot of noise, and the curtains were thin and see through. It would have been fine for us, but the baby couldn't sleep with both the loud street noise and street lights coming through, so we didn't sleep at all either. The towel hooks could be placed differently too, as over the toilet is not...

This place is an abomination! Room decor from the 50's. Small hard beds, a TV the size of a postage stamp, a prison cell would be more welcoming. The whole place smells bad, like a dirty oven, and the breakfast is truly awful, a large bowl filled with fried eggs, which I think are days old and get reheated, awful tasting sausages and cold bacon. You would be better off sleeping in your car, and getting breakfast from a nearby bin.

Stayed for one night, the rating of the hotel 3 star did not encounter at all. Not the room not the breakfast. Cannot recommend a stay. This was far most the worse hotel by this € rate I ever stayed in. Ever seen a movie by Aki Kaurismäki? Thats the only good thing to say - worth...
