The review-by Gilly H was vary different form our experience. The hotel foyer gives one the impression of a fairly high class hotel. Both the rear and front dining areas can be seen from the accueil, the one to your left being the 'street entrance' for passing trade or booked meals by non guests, there is also a terrace for eating in clement weather. ||This impression was dispelled on entering our room. the size and layout was identical from a room in Campanile or Ibis hotels the desk, with cupboard and luggage bench looked nice but, were of 'flat pack' variety and the bed head with the twin lights was put up with the old wallpaper, cicra 1958 on at least 1/3 of the remaining area. The bathroom was crowded with bidet, sink and toilet on one wall, shower on the other, towel rail very close to the toilet on the third wall and the forth was taken up by the shower, only one person at a time could comfortably use it. There was a small shelf over the sink barely enough for my (male) toiletries and my wife, who had the choice, left me with the top of the toilet. To add to the discomfort, the shelf was too close to the sink which meant, for me, when cleaning my teeth, I banged my head on it when 'spitting'out the water used for mouth rinse! The other annoying thing was that the mirror over the sink was sited in an ideal position for a person of Ca 5Ft, 8" in height but, I exceed this I had to bend down to brush my hair!||On the Plus side, the air conditioning was essential as the temperatures were over 30°C and the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly but stayed behind the safety of the counter!||Although the advertising shows a small pool, more a water massage really, it omits to mention the use of this is extra. It also says pets are welcome, many hotels accept pets and a small charge is sometimes, but by no means always, made. We were told there would be a charge of 5€ which we accepted as normal, they failed to mention that this was per night.||We did not eat at the hotel so, cannot comment on the catering or service but, the terrace with one side consisting of growing bamboo which, in the evening with candles on the tables, looked very romantic but then anything with candles looks romantic at night, Our room, which overlooked the terrace gave us a view, in daylight, of rather shabby tables in a fairly confined space, made to look bigger by not having too many tables there!||At a cost of 46:45€ each per night I expect something very...

My husband had selected this hotel base for a short break to celebrate my Birthday by touring this beautiful part of the Gers.||Mme Chiberches welcomed us most warmly, helped us with luggage and directed our parking. We were given advice and pamphlets on places we might want to visit as well as suggesting a local walk we could take in the sunshine to stretch our legs after the drive.||We had booked to have dinner in the hotel restaurant on the night of our arrival and although it was far from full we had three delicious courses, beautifully presented and attentively served. A sweet touch was the addition of Birthday candles on my dessert!||Our room with large bathroom ensuite was more than adequate and spotlessly clean,as were the public areas||We met M Chiberches the following morning over Breakfast and he was equally helpful and welcoming. This is an excellent base from which to tour this part of a beautiful Departement.|We wouldn't hesitate to stay...

La ville est jolie, le cadre est calme. Parlons de l'hôtel ... 3 étoiles 🤔 Le hall qui dessert 4 chambre digne d'un hôtel plus que limite vieux tapis tachés entrelacés. Dans notre chambre, quelle surprise ! Assailli par cette odeur d'humidité et de moisissure dès l'ouverture ! Nous avons compris qu'elle serait à l'image du hall. Je vous emmène avec moi sur la visite de la chambre pour 4 personnes. Sur ma gauche en entrant, lit 2 places orné d'une tête de lit digne des années 80, 2 tringles affublées de morceaux de tissus du même âge excentré du lit naturellement. Face à moi sur la droite, un bureau où se trouve la documentation empêchant l'accès à un placard des plus douteux chargé de poussière contenant du linge de lit ( sagement resté à l'intérieur compte tenu de l'écosystème qui avait réservé la chambre en même temps que nous ) Sur la droite, notre coin salle de bain. En même temps que nous faisons nos petites affaires, nous faisons connaissance de Gertrude l'araignée qui habite ici depuis quelque temps au vue de la taille de sa toile, elle nous invite a regarder le crépis gondolé par l'humidité du mur, comme une mise en garde de risque de chute (merci encore Gertrude ) Toujours au même endroit un bac de douche au joints noirci, visiblement de concert avec l'état du rideau de douche. Tout cela sous le regard médusé de Michel l'araignée (paix à son âme) que j'ai malheureusement écrasé quand je prenais ma douche. Sortant de la salle de bain sans avoir l'occasion de suspendre ma serviette car la patère était cassée, je me dirige vers la chambre où dorment mes enfants en marchant sur un sol digne d'un mauvais Indiana Jones , parquet gondolé, lattes séparées par l'humidité. Mais comme une conquérante, j'arrive dans cette chambre où se trouve Gérard la punaise faisant une sieste sur le lit et Josiane l'araignée qui le regarde du coin de la chambre ... Évidemment nous congédions nos deux squatteurs vers l'extérieur sans heurt, car nous n'oublions pas la mésaventure de Michel...

3 étoiles ... Probablement la salle de restaurant pour le sauver me direz-vous... Non content d'avoir été relégué dans un coin miteux de la salle de restaurant nous avons eu la mésaventure de dîner avec une colonie de fourmis rouges, qui aussi affamées que nous avaient décidées d'effectuer l'ascension des chaises et de nos jambes ....

Le hall d'accueil de l'hôtel ? 3 étoiles peut être ? Nous avons eu la chance que Julie et sa famille d'araignées nous ai fait découvrir les produits locaux présentés à l'entrée, elle et sa petite famille étaient bien plus agréable et commerçant que les personnes nous ayant accueilli...

En résumé, de qui se moque t'ont quand on annonce 3 étoiles ? Évidemment nous avons pris quelques photos afin de vous faire partager...
