Camping de la Plage U Stazzu — Hotel in Bastia

We were ten friends looking for a camping in Corsica. Arrived in Camping de la plage we asked for a place to stay. They started very unfriendly with "you cannot make noise after 22" as gift of welcome. That was obviously ok for us. Then they told us that there was not electricity and was not a problem. Then they gave us a place perfectly under the sun, due to the fact that there was not enough space. We told them that we could split us in all the camping dividing the group so we could sleep under shadow. After accepting in first place, they told us was not possible to split the group (???). We asked for the reason but they didn't explain. So we had to leave the place in the late afternoon searching for another camping....

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Walk distance (1,5 km) to the beautiful Tamarone beach. Very clean bathrooms (no soap or toilet paper of course but hair dryer and comfortable showers). Grill area with coal and tables, laundry with clean and comfortable sinks and washing machine (5 eur). Huge pitch area for tents and we could park our car nearby. The only disadvantage is lack of electricity connection next to your tent but there is posibility to store refrigerator cartridges in the freezer or to connect your fridge or load electric devices at the reception. No wifi. Good value for money (one of the cheapest we stayed in Corsica). We definately...

Very nice calm camping place, the sanitary is clean and simple. You can walk to the beach and village within 5 minutes. Besides a fridge and ovens you can wash your clothes and they even have a pingpong table. Unfortunately this place has no WiFi, but you don't have to be connected all the time, do you?😉 The electonical devices can be charged at the reception. If you want to swim in the Mediterranean Sea, the best option is to walk over to the Tamarone beach, there is less Seaweed on the beach and you have a little bar for ice, snacks...
