Maison Gamboia, chambres et table d'hôtes — Hotel in Bayonne

My French Immersion group had a fantastic stay at Maison Gamboia in September. Celia, our host is the most charming person, and an excellent cook! Every morning we were treated to a farm-fresh breakfast full of local goodness Celia was very friendly and always ready to answer all our questions! She took the time to help me prepare our trip and gave me wonderful suggestions about activities and workshops. Thanks to Celia we met very interesting local people who became our friends. The Maison Gamboia is a gem! The priority is exceptionally clean and inviting. We felt completely at home and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

I literally fell in love with this place! An oasis of peace, harmony and refined, minimalist taste. Everything is designed so that the guest is comfortable (mattresses, bedding), feels good and has the best possible stay (host provided information about attractions in the area). The owner has an ecological and local approach. The house is made of natural materials (she cooperates with local craftsmen and artists), delicious breakfasts made with local and ecological products. highly recommend ♥️ the vibes are beautiful! We stayed for a weekend to scape the noisy city lifestyle, it was so peaceful, relaxing, the town had everything we needed and Maison Gamboia too! The rooms are beautifully decorated, every detail is so special! I had space for my morning yoga, we had 2 beautiful hikes close-by that Celia, the host, recommended and the breakfast was delicious.
