Villa Etchebri Maison et Chambre d'Hôtes Anglet Côte Basque — Hotel in Bayonne

Our family stayed in the Family Suite at Etchebri for 5 nights in August. Brigitte and her team made us feel welcome and at home from the moment we stepped through the door. Etchebri is beautifully designed, tastefully decorated and spotless. The garden and pool were a wonderful place to chill out after a day at the beach. Breakfast was delicious - coffee, pancakes, croissants, bread, homemade jams, cheese and Bayonne ham. We really enjoyed meeting and talking with the other residents and trying out our (poor) French. There must be 5 or 6 rooms at Etchebri.||||The nearest beach is just a 10 min walk down the hill and is wonderfully undeveloped/uncommercialised with just one cafe and a couple of surf schools. We had a fantastic time jumping in the waves and learning to body board - the water was surprisingly warm.||||Biarritz and Bayonne are only about 15mins away and the whole Basque Country is very accessible from Anglet.||||We really hope to...

House is beautiful, rooms were great and pool area very relaxing. Brigitte was an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble for her and her staff. We were encouraged to treat Villa Etchebri as if it was our own home and breakfast was lovely with homemade jams and local specialities. We have never had a more welcoming host. Красивейшее место во французской Стране Басков, удалённое от шума и суеты, окружённое ароматными соснами и другими громадными деревьями, цветами, полями для игры в гольф, дом расположен в очень приятном районе с красивыми виллами, в т.ч. старинными. Сам дом стильный, в отличном состоянии, с большим внутренним двориком и бассейном. В шаговой доступности - огромный пляж с пешеходной дорожкой вдоль набережной, ресторанами. Прекрасное место для серфингистов и прочих любителей волн. Хотя есть и полоска пляжа со спасателями, где можно купаться под наблюдением. Пляж чистый. Как говорится, место для своих. Путешествовали с тремя маленькими детьми, в плане размещения нам было комфортно. Чисто. Хорошее бельё. Чайник, чашечки. Завтрак - обычный европейский минимум (сок, сыр, блины, чай/кофе, йогурты, булочки), как нас и предупреждали. Шли навстречу в наших пожеланиях, хотя, чувствуя неловкость, мы покупали на завтрак остальные продукты сами, так как утром обычно едим сытно. Особенно гостеприимна девушка, помогающая хозяевам.
