We all had an amazing time in Chalet Milou and Morillon We arrived about 10 pm and and as we drove through the village we all thought how lovely it all looked . We were delighted with the size and amenities that the chalet offered . The hamper left was a great bonus with beers wine milk spaghetti bread etc etc . As there were no shops open that night it was invaluable as we were all hungry . All the rooms are tastefullyfurnished and the beds extremely comfortable. We all took turns in cooking and it had everything that you needed to do that . 1 evening we even had a raclette and fondue . Everyone loved the hot tub especially after a hard days skiing and I also like the fact that dressing gowns are provided . Fiona has thought of everything for this beautiful chalet . We normally ski in Morzine and have done every year for 22 years . We prefer Morillon and Samoëns now . It is like what Morzine used to be . There was 9 of us staying in the chalet using 5 of the bedrooms however it can sleep up to 12 . We would love to go ack to...
Read moreWe stayed with our family (8 adults) in the Chalet Milou, for one week, and had a fabulous holiday there. The chalet was very spacious and was exceptionally well equipped, and the hot tub was wonderful at the end of an active day. Everything we needed was on hand and we cooked most nights in the kitchen. The chalet is in a quiet location, but close to lots of amenities and activities. We especially enjoyed the rafting, leaving from Sixt-Fer à-Cheval, and we also hired mountain bikes and descended down the mountains with a guide. Both were great fun. As you would expect, the scenery was magnificent and we even saw an avalanche whilst out walking. There are lots of walks available in the locality. The village of Morillon is small, but has restaurants and some shops, also the village of Samëons, which is nearby, is full of bars, restaurants and shops. It really had a great atmosphere. A great little place to have a beer at the end of the day. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chalet Milou and would definitely...
Read moreHad a lovely week at chalet Milou. It is in a good location, close to the village and bus stop for gondola. It was very well stocked with everything you need to cater for yourself plus there was a welcome hamper on arrival. The beds were very comfy and there were logs for the wood burner. However, we did have a couple of issues while we were there. The carpets upstairs had not been hoovered and one of the bathrooms downstairs wasn't very clean. The chalet had a lovely garden but we couldn't use it as it was covered in dog poo. There was also dog poo that kept appearing on the drive! That said, the owner was interested in our feedback so suspect these issues would not...
