The hotel would be THE CATCH for us if 3 things didn’t happen:

  1. welcome at the reception was just cruel. We showed up at 10 in the morning to attend a congress in the hotel and referred to our reservation. The guy at the reception almost went nuts lecturing us that is absolutely impossible to show up at ten and no rooms would be ready. Just that we had never requested a room as it is obvious that this is too early to check in. All we expected was a warm welcome and an offer to have our bags - as it happens in every other hotel around the world.
  2. the hotel really makes it clear that it doesn’t want to host kids. Regarding the spa, we were lectured again to be quiet - even in this short two hours when kids are allowed there at all. How ridiculous. What kids in a pool do they have in mind? Prisoners? We were then lectured again that a shower is obligatory (good so!) - all the other adults entering the pool came in completely dry though.
  3. the floor in our suite sounded like doing steps a two hundred year old house upon every single step. I guess they fixed the fake parquet wrong. It was really bothering - especially during the night. So, for 450 per night it's really not what you expect. We brought up our concerns upon check-out with basically...

We stayed here for our honeymoon and were impressed by the resort-like atmosphere and breathtaking views of the mountains. The outdoor garden is stunning, especially in winter, and the breakfast was amazing one of the best we’ve had!

We initially had an issue with water pressure in the shower, but the staff quickly moved us to a different room, which resolved the problem. The spa facilities were nice, but the jacuzzi could benefit from slightly warmer temperatures for added comfort.

The hotel upgraded us to a larger room for our honeymoon, which we appreciated, though small personal touches would have made it even more special.

Overall, this hotel has incredible potential. The property is beautiful, the service is helpful, they need to try understand more and see the bigger picture instead of say excuses and let us have bad feeling, and it’s clear the staff are trying to make guests feel welcome. We would love to come back in the summer to experience it again.

In the rooms, there are no slippers provided. It's worth noting that many of the rooms are not accessible, as they have steps leading into the rooms and bathtubs instead of flat floor showers. While the blackout curtains are effective, the insulation is poor. We hear people walking in the corridor and moving around in next rooms. I really didn't like that. Additionally, the floors can be squeaky, which is not acceptable at all for such a standard.

The gym lacks towels and does not have a water station, offering only paid water bottles. Additionally, it is missing essential equipment such as dumbbells, a squat bench, and barbells.

However, the hotel features a good-sized, warmed pool and a lovely setup overall. There are many cozy and well-equipped outdoor seating areas, as well as a beautifully designed bar that includes a billiard table. The outdoor areas are great, boasting beautiful seating and a Petanque court.

Service can be slow due to limited staff, and mistakes are made in orders.

The breakfast offered is...

Excellent service. The hotel is new with a modern design. Part of the second floor is very recently built. There is a spa (not accessible with small children, and treatments must be booked in advance to arrange for a specialist and necessary preparations), a children's playroom right next to the bar, and a decent restaurant. In warm weather, the hotel is probably more appealing due to the pool and spacious outdoor area. I noticed some minor details, such as non-opening trash bins in the bathrooms, no hair conditioner or shower caps, and parking being free during the day but costing €10 at night unless moved to public parking. However, we stayed only for one night. The staff is truly wonderful and does their best to assist with everything.

We were looking for a stop to go to San Remo. We found this hotel on booking and were in love with the photos. Once we arrived, it exceeded our expectations. The car is safe behind a gate, a spacious parking lot! The reception and the rooms are very spacious, we had the duplex for our kids. The garden is very beautiful and contains very nice elements. The enclosed pool with plenty of sunbeds and bar is a plus. Also in the garden plenty of lounge sets. We ate 1x in the restaurant Zelie and 1x at the Italian at 1min walk. Breakfast was perfect! Pool a bit fresh but nice. A very nice bar with live Piano. You do need your car to go to Chambery. What a beautiful city is. Worth repeating.
