We stayed here for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Sophie was very welcoming and between Englishj and French we understood ourselves. We stayed in a two bedroom gite which had it's own seating area which was very private with it's own barbeque which we didn't have time to try. Previous revewiers have mentioned the wifi - we didnt have any issues. The pool is fabulous to come back to after a day exploring. We had breakfast every morning and it was plentiful and delicious. Sophie also catered for allergies. Great location 10 mins drive to Dinan either the old town or the port area and about 45 minutes to Saint Malo. Will definately come back when we are in the area again. One small 'negative' which relates to the age of the buildings - the stairs in our gite were very steep and narrow but plenty of handrails to hold onto. Might be an issue for those travellers with mobility issues but...
Read moreThe ruined Renaissance chateau is evocative. The new buildings are elegantly designed and stylishly furnished. The breakfast is splendid, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is, however, not easy to find. Travellers might find these directions helpful:||from 176, the four land highway that skirts Dinan to the West, whether driving north or south take the exit for the D2 signed Ploubalay. If you were travelling south, immediately after the exit ramp turn hard right down a small lane. There are signs for the chateau, but they are not very visible. If travelling north on 176 turn left from the exit ramp, pass under the highway, pass the southbound exit ramp then immediately right, as above. The directions may be complex, but this a wonderful...

We checked the price on the Domaine de Garaye B&B website and it was cheaper and paid 156€ for 2 nights.|It was very easy to find and although close to main road, it felt you were deep in the countryside.|Sophie was very welcoming and she showed us to our room was large, very clean and well presented with a large shower room. There was a lovely shared sitting area with tea and coffee facilities and we had a fantastic breakfast every morning. |I used the pool and it was really nice at the end of the day to have a swim.|It's open all year so plan to return as one of the best b&bs we have stayed in,...
