My husband and I had a really wonderful 4 day stay at this beautiful little family-run hotel. We stayed in the roulotte out back, which was cozy but super private and beautifully decorated - full of thoughtful little touches and a REALLY comfortable bed. My husband, not normally a 'hang out by the pool guy', loved our daily cooling afternoon swims by the pretty pool. The well cared for flowers, olive trees, and gardens around the hotel are quite lush in the summer and add a lot of color and beauty to the grounds. The hotel is also really nicely situated to explore the surrounding villages like Tourtour and Flayosc. and only an hour from the aquamarine waters of Gorge du Verdon (and we usually headed out for the day after a delicious and generous breakfast at the hotel, so definitely don't pass that up). it's clear that the proprietors Aaron and Gaia have poured a lot of personal love and hard work into the hotel and really want guests to have a comfortable stay and enjoy all that the Provence countryside has to offer. Highly recommend. Wish we could have...
Read moreI stayed here with my partner for 3 nights during our travels aroudn south of France and Italian Alps. It’s a lovely, relaxing and peaceful hotel with a great location. Owner of the hotel is the most helpful and friendly person. He was very happy to provide information about the area but beyond that able to meet all of our request. Despite the fact hotel is 2 stars the property has a lovely new interior and great facilities. Pool is of a great size and very comfortable sun beds. Since the pool is not busy it feels like a private pool. The best thing about the hotel is that is super clean and hygienic. The grounds might not be huge but again very lovely. Breakfast was very tasty just lack of warm food as in general in France is difficult to find English type breakfast. You can eat breakfast in the lovely back garden. The location is excellent next to lovely villages, gardens, waterfalls and perfect locations if you are looking to do wine tasing in vineyards our favourite one Château Rosaline - tour at 2.30 followed by wine tasting. All in all...
Read moreWe stayed at Les Oliviers for a wedding last weekend. Our two nights there were the best night’s sleep we have had in weeks. In the UK we currently have a heatwave||and the air-conditioning and extremely comfy bed at Les Oliviers felt like a luxury to us. The aircon unit is positioned so it doesn’t directly blow on you while you sleep and can be adjusted.||The room and bathroom were basic but very clean. The room has a tv and the bathroom has 2in1 shampoo/shower gel and also a hairdryer.||Breakfast was continental style with fresh baguette, croissants and boiled eggs but not included in the rate. You can enjoy your breakfast on the little patio shaded by a lovely olive tree.||I would recommend a car as it is tricky to get taxis in the area (not the hotel’s fault at all as there is a general shortage of them) ||If you do arrive by car there is plenty of parking available. ||The owners, Aaron and his wife both speak English and were very friendly...
