Checked in and paid up front for the hotel. Cheap and available which is why we ended up here. Govern the choice I would stay elsewhere. The hotel is located far from everything - period. Rooms were ok in size, bathroom was small and only a soda dispenser in the shower. The shower had a quarter panel so the floor will become wet no matter what you do and as they do not provide you with a hand towel or bath mat it will stay wet. Cheesy advert on the bathroom mirror for breakfast for 4.90€ which sounds good until you see the picture. The room was mostly clean, although upon our return the bed cover had been tossed on the floor and then put back on the bed which appeared to be a good way to clean the floor as all of the dirt was now on the bed cover. Parking is free and ample. Snack machines down stairs provide some food although I saw some people had called for pizza to be delivered. Reception closes at a certain time and it appears that self check in is possible through a kiosk machine. Room keys are codes that are given to you at check in so no physical keys are required. Beds were not comfortable. It was quiet however due to the...
Read moreLocated on the outskirts, an easy hotel to find and park the car. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. The lobby was small but inviting.||||The room was very minimalist, both in decor and provisions. No kettle or coffee for early morning risers; the bed was on wheels and kept rolling about. The bathroom door was a sliding translucent pane of glass. The shower had a missing shower curtain and shower splatter filled the bathroom floor. Good water pressure. The room could appear cold unless it were for the colour on the feature wall. ||||Spacious room and space for large suitcases. Good tv stations.||||Breakfast was optional and cheap for a buffet of limited items; a small self-service is set up along a side of the reception desk in a small unit. Basic cereal, milk, bread, condiments, warm drinks and juice. Perfect for the 'on-the-go' traveler to stock up on carbs till late afternoon!||||The hotel was comfortable nonetheless and a 6-digit code is provided to rooms, entrance to hotel and gate to carpark - no...
Read moreI had very low expectations when I booked this hotel, considering its very cheap price, but was pleasantly surprised: it is a good, clean and efficient budget hotel, located within the commercial zone of Istres. The hotel itself is simple, nothing fancy. But rooms are of decent size and very clean, with satisfactory sleeping quality. Bathroom wasn't too small either, and there was free WI-FI +parking. Nothing to ask more for a stop-over. Staff was young, competent and efficient. If, like us, you missed the meal times, there are some options nearby in the industrial zone, including a Mc Donald's and an Hippopotamus restaurant that is open on Sundays (YES! A rarity in my country!), so you won't be starving alone in your hotel room ;-)||I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a cheap yet decent sleeping option near Istres. Perfect for a stop-over before hitting...
