Quite simply this place is not worth the money. They may claim that you can't find a better place closer to the city centre for the same amount of money, however I arrived here from an Airbnb that was the exact same distance from the city centre that was cheaper, and had a significantly larger amount of amenities including laundry facilities that weren't charged per usage plus a much better kitchen.
On my arrival I was delayed past the scheduled check-in time due to the cleaners not being finished. I didn't really have a problem with this but the other guests that were also asked to wait maybe weren't so happy. Seems to be a common occurrence based on previous reviews.
There are many other reviewers claiming they had issues with shower drainage/blockage but the explanation is very easy. The shower recess the builders chose is not good enough for the amount of water flow, so it will build up and overflow if you have the tap on full for more than 2 minutes. The solution is to have it on half pressure instead, however that isn't an ideal choice.
The kitchen has a very limited selection of utensils for cooking. I found the exhaust fan to not be sufficient at all for cooking and the ventilation in the rooms is very bad so when you cook, expect to have the smells linger for the whole day. Most of the issues with this hotel seem to stem from the builders decisions to cut corners during construction which unfortunately has loaded extra pressure on the staff that run the accommodation.
I found the two girls Mel & Fatou to be the best highlights of my stay. The other staff members definitely had questionable attitudes.
The manager of the hotel may respond to this to defend the property, but they shouldn't be forced to since the owner of the hotel commissioned the construction at an extremely low price to save money and give guests a mediocre experience considering the high tourist turnover of Paris.
In short, the price you pay for this place is simply not worth it and you'll be unpleasantly surprised at the plastic sink basin and shower recess, wondering how they justify charging you the amount of money per night for it.
Also, they will automatically charge you 150€ before you arrive that will be returned to you a few weeks after checking out and they've ensured you've cleaned the kitchen, taken out the garbage and left the room in a state similar to the one you...
Read moreWhere to begin... We had first made our booking directly on their website. A list of their services was provided, however, the website did not specify which services were included and which were extra. Once we checked in, we were a bit skeptical but we wanted to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt. We should not have. The floor was dirty and somehow always sticky. The lower half of the wall had scratch and scuff marks seemingly all over the room. Moving on to the bathroom, not only did my partner and I feel genuinely disgusted going to the bathroom, but the shower would always over-flood. We would turn the shower on and off in increments to avoid spillage but somehow the floor was always soaking wet. For the price we paid, we would expect their to be some flaws, however, nothing beats the unjust service prices. When we had asked the night receptionist if we could have our room cleaned and for extra towels, he gladly gave us towels, and told us that our room would be cleaned the next day in the afternoon. The next day, when we had returned to our room, we noticed that it was STILL completely dirty. Due to this we went back down to the receptionist and asked why the room had still not been cleaned? They had informed us that they can only clean the rooms if we stay there for more than a week. Additionally, they informed us that we would be charged for additional towels (6 euros), linen and cleaning (20 euros). All of which are extremely overpriced. Despite having a relatively "comfortable" bed, sleeping was not easy. The tram lights would always shine through the translucent curtains into our room, the traffic lights could also be seen in the room, and constant blaring of emergency service vehicles. Did I mention they also always get false fire alarms? Finally, last point worth mentioning is that the terms of sale are all in French even if you go on the English website. I would never stay again, nor recommend it even to my worst enemy. Most unpleasant...
Read moreI have spent the last 4 nights here with my daughter while we explored central Paris. Booked this accomodation as a good price for 4 nights. It's a little out of central Paris but has a metro stop nearby but we did mostly use Uber and Bolt. The accomodation was nice but there are a few things that need improving. The rooms are generally clean but you can see the have been rushed and things like dust in places, marks on walls but nothing major. We are on floor 5 and the corridor carpets are in bad condition and definitely need an upgrade. The hotel takes a 150 Euro deposit for damages, hopefully that is returned easily enough. The rooms are good with a modern bathroom and kitchen facilities but we literally didn't touch the kitchen so can't say what the appliances are like. Beds are reasonably comfortable but the bedding is awful. Cheap white sheets and an awful pillow, plus they don't get changed unless you have been here a week. The staff seem friendly but again we didn't have much interaction but the questions we did have they happily answered. They did ask to keep my passport for my daughter to lend a hairdryer rather than leave a deposit but I did get it back ok. The breakfast area and lounge are looked nice but again we didn't use it. The shop next door is great, and has everything you need but not affiliated with the hotel. I would stay here again if the price was reasonable again but it's a shame that some of the issues others have mentioned seemed to have been ignored and not improved on, such as the cleaning and bedding. I would definitely say the hotel is safe and the area is safe. We ordered late from Pizza Hut on Uber eats and delivered to the hotel front door with no issues at all. We have thoroughly enjoyed our trip in Paris and mostly enjoyed our stay...
