My wife and I went to this restaurant for dinner one night during our stay in Martinique. The older gentleman who greeted and served us was drunk, which initially felt like just a language barrier, french and english, but became very apparent as the night developed.||||The chef arrived after we had ordered drinks and it looked like he had just come off of a fishing boat without cleaning up for dinner.||||Naively we took this as a reasonable sign, because all we wanted was a couple of salads and a grilled fish to share.||||The chef came out shortly and rapped his knuckles on the table and explained that the fish was frozen solid and would take too long to thaw. My wife had seen the server take the fish from the freezer a few minutes before as her seat faced the kitchen.||||I had ordered the conch appetizer, so when the chef explained that the fish would be impossible and suggested 2 orders of conch instead, we thought that would be enough for us. However, instead of the 17 euro grilled fish, we got two orders of the conch dinner at 25 euros a piece. It was awful and came in what was referred to as creole sauce, but was indistinguishable from turkey gravy with chilli spice, with rice on the side which we think was cooked a couple of days before.||||When we decided to leave our unfinished meals and pay, we were confronted with a demand for cash, even though the credit card terminal was clearly available at the desk. After 15 min. and a lot of sad faces from our server he decided that credit card was an option. ||||This is not a place that anyone should consider during their...
