La Maison d' Estournel , the home of Louis d'Estournel , the XIX th century visionary creator of the famous Cos d'Estourne a l 5 minutes drive from this beautiful boutique Hotel . The actual owner of la Maiso and Chateau Cos d'Estournel also owns different hotels within the famous la Reserve Palace in Geneva, Paris and Ramatuelle. So be sure to be treated with same care and professionalism than the other hotels , la Reserve is know for there star Michelin restaurants , although it is a totally different price range the food and quality of used ingredients is to die for . All ingredients are carefully sourced locally , although most of the food comes from organic farm , la Maison doesn't publicize there organic food , because here it is a must and not a marketing maneuver . A lunch menu goes for 29€ ! Can't make better ,food his tasty and healthy, dishes are done with al lot of care and passion . As for the bedroom, in a cozy and discreet luxury,you find there a more feel home style than in the other know Palace of this family own chain . Jump on the bed and be ready for a 12 hours nap, in this peaceful and serein atmosphere where the word resting get all in meaning, be sure to turn your alarm clock on or you will snooze all morning ;-) Feel like having a walk enjoy the beautiful park, you want push the visit within the vineyards to the beautiful estate of Cos d'Estournel ? Go for it ! it is a 15 minutes walk or if you are more adventurous , jump on the ebikes provided by the hotel. And if you are definitely on lazy spread no problem ,enjoy the beautiful garden under the shadow of the giant cedar, with your best book and and a glass of one the fine wines from the estate (and the others too). After a long drive, we were waited for until 1am, after which we tasted cheeses and wine in the chic living room.

The house is located in the heart of the vineyards, a stone's throw from the Cos d'Estournel. The interior is refined but discreet. You are welcomed as if in a welcoming home. Coming to Maison d'Estournel is to indulge in a holiday of "the good life", to relax in the living room-library with a glass of Cos d'Estournel, to discover the seasonal cuisine and to stroll leisurely along the endless roads along the vineyards.

Together with my wife, we had an unforgettable stay at La Maison d’Estournel. The hotel is simply amazing. Our room was lovely and had a garden-view balcony that made every morning feel special. The pool and surrounding garden were equally impressive. We also enjoyed a massage session during our stay, which was incredibly relaxing and professionally done.

The restaurant was excellent, with a menu full of unique and delicious dishes, beautifully prepared and presented. The wine selection was outstanding, featuring some of the best Bordeaux wines we’ve ever tasted.
