Title: A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Wine Country
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Château de Courtebotte, and it was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the serene countryside of Saint-Jean-de-Blaignac, this stunning 17th-century chateau exudes charm and elegance.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality. The hosts made us feel right at home, and their passion for the region truly shone through. The chateau itself is beautifully restored, with tastefully decorated rooms that provide both comfort and style. Waking up to the panoramic views of the Dordogne and the surrounding vineyards was a highlight of our stay.
The location is perfect for exploring the nearby vineyards of Saint-Émilion, Pomerol, Médoc, and Sauternes. We enjoyed leisurely walks through the picturesque landscapes and had the chance to indulge in wine tasting at some of the local vineyards.
If you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, Château de Courtebotte is the ideal place to recharge. I highly recommend this enchanting property to anyone visiting the region. Many thanks to the hosts, Neshide and Defne, for taking care of my personal needs. Can't...

Note, there is an extra fee for this, but is well worth it :) |The hotel grounds are lovely and well maintained and the pool is a great area with heated water to enjoy a swim. Parking is easy and near the accommodation. |Ayse is the most perfect hostess; she was welcoming, friendly and super helpful with her suggestions and even called to make reservations at restaurants and a local wine tour for us.||I/We HIGHLY recommend you take some time to spend a few nights in this...

You can stroll in the garden or outside, swim in the pool, play pétanque. The five rooms in the chateau itself are romantic, very well serviced with Nespresso coffee everyday. The breakfast in the morning is sumptuous. The chateau staff are very friendly and they will arrange visits for you to wineries, Bordeaux no the region. They do not serve lunch or dinner but can serve you wine, beer and champagne. There are 4 gites in the garden which are independent with kitchenettes where families, friends or couples can stay and cook. The region has a lot of first class restaurants though and you would be better advised to eat in them. The owners and staff are meticulous and they care highly about their clients. For all of us, it was a...
