Le Ronchamp — Hotel in Lure

In the middle of a long trip, I decided to make a break and spend a night in Ronchamp.||I was just looking for a place to sleep and took randomly this hotel.||||It is well located, in the middle of the village, but not in the main road, so it was very calm.||The service was very kind and friendly. The breakfast was also tasty and variated.||My room was clean, even if it smelled like old. The bathroom looked like renovated and was very clean.||||The only sad thing is that they don't have any other amenities, like bar or restaurant, but it fullfilled completely...

The stay was horrible. They didnt give us check in till 5 pm although the room was empty, infact entire hotel was empty. ||More so ever they, the rooms didnt have a kettle. When we asked for one. They gave us an old dirty one. ||They also closed the main entry door to the hotel and asked as to use the back entry. We couldnt even communicate to the reception if we needed anything. ||They informed us that the hotel is shut on monday, and offered us no breakfast in the morning. ||Horrible staff, very un helpful and we had a...

We self booked an excursion from Paris to see the Le Courboisier chapel in Ron Champ. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality and service of this hotel. Since we took the train and didn't gave a car, the owner offered to drive us to a restaurant and pick us up after dinner. All the rooms have just been renovated and it was very clean. We ate at a local restaurant called Cook and had a nice dinner of Tete du Veal for about $25 The train service from Paris was excellent was new...
