Brit Hotel Mâcon Nord — Hotel in Mâcon

Stayed here twice, on our outward journey and on our return journey.||only stayed one night each time.||We firstly picked the Hotel, from the internet, by it's reasonable room price. On arrival we were, at first, disappointed by the size of the room. It was a lot smaller than we expected, looked a bit like student accommodation. We quickly changed to being very pleased. The room was very clean, the bathroom modern and clean. The shower cubicle larger than most. The bed very comfortable and good quality bedding provided. Air-Con, both heat and cool.||This was excellent for our one night stop. We also has our small pet dog with us who was welcomed.||The staff we came into contact with were very courteous, friendly and helpful.||We did not eat in the Restaurant but will try it next visit.||We will certainly continue to use this hotel on our travels to and from the South of France. Is good for short stays and is easy to get to as is close to...

The room was awful! There was what looked like human feces ( pooh!) smeared on the wall. ( I have a photo of this ) Also all the tiles at the entrance were to the bedroom were all pulled up and very dangerous! The bathroom was SO small and the shower curtain didn't go all the way to the floor so the ENTIRE bathroom was soaked in water...the internet was almost impassible to connect to and know one around to help out. The beds are SO narrow you can just about lay on your back. We usually stay the 'Hotel B&B" chain and during this trip we decided to give Fast Hotel a try; we stayed twice on this trip, both times were awful....

The location of this hotel is ideal as it is close to the motorway. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower and toilet were clean and more than adequate. We stayed one night travelling back from Spain to the UK. We had a ground floor room which we thought was ideal as my husband is disabled but oh boy were we wrong. You could hear the person above walking to and fro across the floor and scraping furniture. I was awoken at 2am by loud talking. noise and banging of doors and people running up the stairs outside the room. The rooms are what you would expect from a cheap hotel but the soundproofing is...
