We arrived at the campsite and were welcomed by a helpful young man at the gate, and also by a friendly receptionist....this was the only positive aspect of the stay. Our emplacement was a smelly, muddy patch next to a vandalized caravan. None of the emplacements were demarcated, so people walked immediately past our motorhome, we had no privacy at all. I had to ask a group of children not to play football on our emplacement- we paid for our emplacement not a football pitch! People came and played skittles on the edge of the emplacement also. If there was fencing or hedging it would have been obvious that they were emplacements. The showers were very shabby and grubby. The shower doors were not all operational. The plumbing had cable ties and bits of string around them. Several of the shower drain covers were missing, which meant the smell escaped from the drain. The sanitary facilities need a complete overhaul. The chemical toilet disposal was in the ladies sanitary block, so I escorted my husband in to make sure there were no ladies present. There was talking and shouting all night, still going on at 4am. Youths were screaming and and shouting in the shower block. We were exhausted the following day. We paid for 2 nights, but only stayed one! I would suggest the security guard makes a circuit of the campsite at night to ensure tranquility. Speed bumps are needed to slow drivers down....it's not a race track. We have stayed a better one star campsites! We definitely would not return.

This site is ideally located, very near the beach and a relaxed walk to Palavas Les Flots. Site has large pitches well laid out and with clean washing and toilet facilities. Great staff at reception and onsite. We overloaded the electricity a couple of times and they were out very quick to resolve (damn kettle...). Onsite there is a shop which has the basic necessities. There is a rotating market stall which changes daily selling beach wear one day and jewellery the next. The restaurant on site is lovely with great staff, especially the manager who worked tirelessly all night. We were lucky to be at this site for both Bastille and the world cup final, I doubt we will have a better weekend. Great people and great facilities. Palavas is also beautiful and worth a wander round the side street markets. The beach is lovely a combination of sand and shells. The site reception staff were extremely helpful. We ventured into Montpelier using the bus and tram - the bus stop is just along the road from the site. Very regular service. You then get the tram into Montpelier. A lovely city and a must visit. The entertainment on site was interesting, but we are not great french speakers, but the staff really make an effort. All in all a great site. One we will definitely return to. Thanks to all on site.

Terrible service with a completely unprofessional approach. From the very beginning, we were treated so poorly that as a result we did not stay at the campsite. Here's what happened. We are cycling, we wanted to stay for the night at the campsite in our tent. During check-in, we were informed that the tent sites had no shade. The only shaded spots were those where you had to pay extra for electricity. We agreed to this, but it turned out we couldn't use the electricity because the plugs were only suitable for camper vans. This alone should have raised some concern among the reception staff, but nothing like that happened. We then suggested moving to a spot without electricity. We moved to the indicated spot, only to be informed that we wouldn't get a refund for the electricity anyway.

The situation itself wouldn't have been so bad, and we probably would have let it go if not for the attitude and approach of the reception staff. The guy who served us was clearly irritated by the situation, there was no possibility of a dialogue, and when we tried to discuss it, we were met with a raised voice and defensive behavior, which was completely unnecessary. Additionally, we encountered unpleasant comments from a female receptionist who felt the need to rescue her colleague (which is another level of unprofessionalism) by sarcastically muttering "Oh my god" towards us while listening to the conversation, which was absolutely unacceptable.

Furthermore, the reception staff exchanged comments about us in French, assuming we couldn't understand them. A tragic experience overall, we are definitely not recommending, it is not worth supporting...

Well.... If you’re British, don’t bother with this campsite, the minute they see your number plate, that’s it, dirty looks all round. The office people were nice when we checked in and took our money and tbf the maintenance guys always had a smile but that was it. ||The campsite is situated next to a busy road that you can hear at all hours. Campsite is supposed to be quiet between 12-5am, however, if your french, that does not apply. ||We were ripped off in the bar, the younger of the two bar man charged us different prices every time we went although drinking the same drinks, like he was making them up and was particularly rude when we asked for a drink the last time we went so never returned there.||There was a small pool but if you are male and didn’t have Speedo’s, you couldn’t use it, my 46yr old partner was not about to whip on a pair of speedos just to go in a pool full of kids at his age! Also no drinks, food, bags, shoes, smoking, jumping in, diving or heavy petting allowed. ||No Social distancing or masks being worn as if nothing was going on in the world. Toilets and showers were always filthy and no one adhered to the in/out protocol put into place. Kids and bikes constantly hanging around the toilet blocks at all hours making getting past them quite uncomfortable. Most of the staff in the local pizzeria wore masks but under there noses, not helpful. ||Camping pitches are so close together but yet no one has a smile or a ‘bonjour’ which you would expect being in such close quarters. We left a day early as just couldn’t take it anymore as we felt like we shouldn’t be there. Will...
