Caravaning Les Garennes & Domaine Le Fliers — Hotel in Montreuil-sur-Mer

PLUS ||Camp side is very specious and very green. There is nice and clean swimming pool (the water is check very frequently) and next to it is a pub with pool and other games. All of that together with children playing area is situated on the middle of the camp. Our mobile home was very clean and everything was very new (we was told the caravans were change last year and you could still smell of newness). The kitchenet has full range of glasses (wine and normal) plates (small, large and deep) as well as cup and saucers. There is full set of cutlery and knifes to meat and bread and even wine opener. Pans, pots, measuring cups, cutting board, salad bowls and many more. Fridge was very good size and had separate freezer department. We stay in two so we've got caravan with two rooms (plus separate lounge) one with double bed (in this room we found queen size duvet and two European cushions) and one twin room (with two single duvets and two cushions). You have to bring your own sheets so its good to know that. Duvets were still in there original plastic bags and cushions look new as well. Apart of dining table we found one more white, plastic table with 4 chairs which together with umbrella (there was even weight for umbrella supplied!) you could use on your outside patio which was very specious. Bathroom and toiled was new and clean and we found even clothes airer. There is shop called Lidl few meters away so shopping is easy but is worth to keep in mind that Sunday all supermarkets are close. Few thing which is worth to remember to buy before you stay... toilet paper, washing liquid, sponge as non of that was supplied. Its fairly close to the beach which is very clean and with white sand and there is few things to see around.||||MINUS||The only minus was that non of the staff spoke English (at all). We were lucky and one of the boys who was temporarily working on the swimming pool saw our dilemma and offered to help with translation... otherwise we would be in big predicament. On arrival they supplies you with the list (in French!) and you need to make little inventory of the caravan (needles to say this is quiet tricky if you don't speak French and staff don't speak English). The steam room had an acrid stench of sweat. No essential oils were used to alleviate the body odours. The pool is only open from 10am to 7pm, so guests cannot enjoy the premises upon their return from a day’s out. The beds were hard and uncomfortable. We brought our own bedsheets because linen is charged per person. We also brought our own internet because Wifi is charged even though most hotels will provide it for free. The kitchen had no oven, so quick and easy meals were not an option. The mobile homes on the campsite are cramped too close together, so neighbours can hear everything. Directions to the garbage area are poorly indicated. The 600 Euro deposit is abusive from a consumer perspective. The lady at reception who called herself “la responsable” made hurtful and insulting comments about how we left the premises, despite the fact that we cleaned it twice before checkout. The overly fastidious inspection was humiliating. The campsite is advertised as family friendly and close to the beach — but guests with young children are expected to leave the premises in pristine condition and without a trace of sand. Trivial scrupulosity driven by avarice. We left the place tidy, but petty excuses were made in order to keep our 100 euros cleaning fee deposit. Greedy and rude. We will not be coming back and emphatically recommend people to book elsewhere. The “good” reviews you may see online are doubtful and most likely written by the personnel. Overpriced and not...

A FUIR AU MAXIMUM !!||Quand nous sommes arrivés nous étions déçu du camping, le goudron était plein de trous , rien était propre et sa ne ressemblait en aucun cas au photos … . En face du parc pour enfants il y’avait un genre d’entrepôt sale avec un tracteur garé devant se qui peut être dangereux pour les enfants. Arrivés dans le mobil home il y’avait ni eau chaude ni gaz on a dû retourner à l’accueil pour qu’il répare sa ( apparemment je ne suis pas la seule à m’en plaindre) il y’avait de la poussière un peut partout dans le mobil home les fenêtres étaient sale et le parasols sur la terrasse était tout petit et cassé . Les enfants on décider de jouer au ballon dans le parc un membre du staff les a engueuler pour sa … Les résidents sont désagréable, rien pas de bonjour et on me regarde mal et soupire dans mon dos en disant des chose raciste car je porte une djelaba ( simple tenue arabe ) . Les employés sont eux aussi désagréable, on a l’impression de ne pas être les bienvenus dans le camping. Le soir même un boucan pas possible accompagné de très forte musique jusqu’à 0h30 du matin, Impossible de dormir avec tout se bruits surtout pour coucher les enfants c’était un enfer . Le lendemain nous avions décidé d’aller à la piscine pour se rafraîchir et oublier la nuit horrible que nous venions de passer, nous étions en maillot de bain « trop couvert » a leur goût , le maître nageur nous a dit que les maillots qu’on portai n’étaient pas des maillots de bain alors que je l’es ai acheté à décathlon rayon MAILLOT DE BAIN se que le maître nageur avait du mal à comprendre apparemment. A peine rentré dans l’eau le maître nageur nous demande de partir . Je m’était toujours baigner avec se maillot de bain dans d’autre camping on ne m’a jamais rien dit . J’ai donc quitté la piscine, je suis repassé devant la piscine 1h plus tard pour constater que des personnes avaient le même maillot de bain que moi et c’est personne la se baigner tranquillement. J’ai donc décidé d’aller voir le maître nageur pour lui en parler mais il m’a complètement ignoré. Je suis donc allé à l’accueil pour leur expliquer la situation, on m’a dit de passer à 14h lorsque les responsables seront là . A 14h je suis reparti a l’accueil les responsable mon très mal parler et ne m’on pas pris au sérieux en me disant que si la piscine me plaisait pas je pouvais toujours partir à la mer se qui était hors de question pour moi . J’ai donc demandé un remboursement, j’ai payé 880€ la semaine et cela faisait seulement 2 jours que j’ était arrivé j’ai donc demandé un remboursement de 628€ les responsables n’ont pas accepté en me riant au nez ,cela fait plusieurs années que je vais en camping tout les ans il ne l’es JAMAIS arrivé sa . J’ai l’impression que tout cela est du racisme pur et dur... J’ai mis une étoile mais si je pouvais en mettre zéro je l’aurais fait . JE VOUS DÉCONSEILLE SE CAMPING À...
