We loved our second stay at Camping Kerlandy just as much as our first! We visited in April 2025 and enjoyed it so much that we returned a few months later, this time bringing Daddy (who had to work last time) and Granny, who was delighted to have her first holiday abroad in years.|We stayed in a beautiful Mongolian yurt, which was spotless, cosy, and full of character. The opening roof is a wonderful feature, and the little kitchen area with cooker rings, microwave, and fridge made it easy to prepare meals. The beds were very comfortable and, with our own sleeping bags, we were perfectly warm at night. It was a little snug for six of us, but still worked well.|The campsite has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The children loved the play area, and all the facilities—including the showers and toilets—were very clean. We didn’t try the breakfast basket due to allergies, but the one we saw delivered to a neighbouring yurt looked delicious.|The owners were fantastic hosts—so friendly and helpful. Vanessa’s English is excellent, which made us feel very welcome, and we really appreciated their hospitality.|The location is brilliant, with lots to see and do nearby, and Roscoff is close by, making the ferry journey home very convenient.|We can’t wait to come back again soon—thank you for another...
Read moreWe would not recommend this campsite for Motorhomes, Caravans or Camper vans. This is the first time in over 40 years we have stayed on a campsite that doesn’t have a facility for emptying a cassette toilet, which is bizarre given that they have flushing toilets, so are obviously connected to a sewerage system, so why it should be so difficult to provide a separate toilet for cassette emptying we have no idea. They are under the mistaken idea that we use dangerous chemicals in our cassette toilets which is nonsense. The owners are new to running a campsite, and whilst they are very pleasant people they seem to be misinformed and naive. Their toilet facilities on site were very clean and well maintained. We used our own shower, because we were sited too far away from the ones that we were told worked properly. The bus stop which we had been led to believe was within 200 metres was further away, so not as accessible as we had hoped. The pitch we were on was quite rough and not very even. We have stayed on many small very rural campsites, and they have all had a facility for emptying a toilet. No, we won’t be staying...
Read moreWe had a truly magical stay at Kerlaudy Mer et Yourtes! I visited with my children, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like a little adventure. The yurt was cosy, beautifully set up, and surprisingly spacious — perfect for a family. The setting is peaceful and close to nature, which makes it such a relaxing escape. The kids loved the outdoor space, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the stay extra comfortable. It was a unique experience we’ll all remember fondly. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something a little different! The location was excellent just a short distance from beautiful beaches and very convenient for catching the ferry home. The beds were very comfortable and everything was nice and clean. The host was very friendly and helpful with...
