Over the past 50 plus years we have routinely traveled to Europe. On this occasion we decided to explore the two cities of Metz and Nancy, France. So, we chose to stay in Pont-à-Mousson as it is located midway between the two locations. There were many choices of possible places to stay, but after contacting a few locations we selected Hôtel du Parc. Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by Ms. Delphine Leboeuf who made our stay a memorable one. Once one enters the property via a gated entrance, the grounds of the hotel are park like with ample vehicle parking. Our room with two large windows overlooked the grounds as previously described. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed. Each morning we enjoyed a very nice continental breakfast in a breakfast room with leaded stained-glass windows. Perhaps the most memorable aspect of our stay was Ms. Leboeuf as she made us feel completely at home and provided excellent input as to where to visit to make the most of our stay. Overall, staying at the Hôtel du Parc was a wonderful experience and one we...

If you are going to stay there based on high reviews, you’d better give it second thoughts.

We don’t understand the 4.9 rating with 129 reviewers! The place barely deserves a 2 star rating even with lowest standards, considering the not so cheap room prices.

This hotel is extremely overrated. It looks nice in photos but in reality it is an average building which has been cheaply renovated. The bathrooms are not even tiled. Most of the rooms in the hotel have small windows and are drab. Our room looked like a hostel room, having bare minimum in the cheapest way.

There is no fridge in the room, no information about check in and check out or breakfast time. The breakfast is also far from good, with some stale toast and a couple of jars of jams, and it is only served until 9:30.

The staff let us cancel our second night of stay and said they canceled the credit payment, but later we realised they deceived us to pay there, and charged us on our credit card as well. So they charged us twice and did not return our money for the second night. Totally unethical and...

Very charming and quaint hotel based in an old villa. Lovely secluded garden and ample parking space. Great service and very dog and child friendly. Breakfast is good value. Reception can make a reservation for the restaurant across the street which is equally recommended.
