We checked in after getting one month advance bookings. To our utter surprise, when 16 of us dragged our suitcases all d way from the railway station to the hotel, no one bothered to serve water...they checked the systems to see if at all v r booked and then at their own luxury of time provided rooms! The AC in the rooms was not working and the hotel had no apology for that! Imagine ur out on holiday and u Hv to sleep in no AC rooms ... We opened the windows but still couldn't sleep because people were put on road to enjoy FIFA matches. When we asked the reception to serve us water, we were told to come down to restaurant and take the jug... When we asked for dental kit, we were told to go to the vending machine!! Swiss Air were our tour agents. Horrendous experience we had with ibis and the agents who recommended this 17000 room per night and did nothing to...

If you know what to expect from a budget French hotel (42 Euros per night for two of us - presumably increased because of the rugby) then it's absolutely fine. We got a room on the top floor and were staggered to find that not only was there the usual arrangement of a double bed with a single above it, but up a ladder were a further two beds above the bathroom. ||Breakfast was the usual baguette, coffee, jam and yogurt and the staff (when they were around) were friendly and attentive.||We got additional entertainment on the Sunday morning when it emerged that there was also a wedding party staying there the previous night - and the bride was still in her...
