We enjoyed our room and found the location convenient—just 13 minutes by train to Paris and 25 minutes to Disneyland. The complimentary coffee and tea were a nice touch, though the quality was lacking. The night receptionist was polite and attentive, which we appreciated. However, there were two major drawbacks.
First, the morning receptionist was extremely rude, making our mornings unpleasant with his unprofessional comments. His behavior was consistent with all guests, not just us. He appeared more interested in watching TV on his laptop than attending to his duties, visibly annoyed whenever anyone asked for assistance. This is highly inappropriate for a hotel environment.
Additionally, they charged a deposit, and I had to wait 14 days for it to be refunded. If a deposit is required, it should be refunded on the day of checkout, not two weeks later. We've stayed in hotels worldwide and have never encountered such an issue...
Read moreThe hotel is located in the suburbs of Paris, in the town of Fontenay-sous-Bois. It usually takes about an hour to reach the city center by public transport. We arrived late in the evening, and be prepared that you will need to leave a deposit of 100 euros for the room, which is refunded after check-out if everything is in order. Additionally, there is a city tax charged for each day of your stay.
The room is small, and the window faced the road, so it was quite noisy at night due to traffic. There is no ventilation in the bathroom, and slippers are not provided. Only two towels were given for two people, plus two very small towels, about 20 by 20 cm in size.
During the last two days, we started finding insects on the bed; I don’t know what they were or where they came from, but it ruined the experience. Overall, the hotel is relatively affordable for Paris, but it’s quite far...
Read moreVery cute studio apartment. I enjoyed the view overlooking Paris and having a/c (many hotels/places in France don’t have a/c). In my room I had a double bed, mini fridge, stovetop & a microwave, tv, wifi…It is not in a very nice neighborhood! Sketchy for sure. Carried a knife with me at night. There are a couple of places to eat right up the street-a Turkish place and Pizza Hut and a bus stop right outside the hotel. The staff was extremely nice! They do not have breakfast and they don’t have ice! There is no room service, they do stock your mini fridge with mostly sweets and drink but you of course have to pay! There is free coffee and tea in the lobby area! I wouldn’t say this place is...
