Pub Brasserie Le Village — Restaurant in Nogent-sur-Marne

Well, the place wasn't even that bad, but the experience and the service were terrible. I went there to have a simple coffee with my partner. The coffee was terrible (and I didn't expect a very good coffee) but that's not what caused my bad review, but the rudeness of the owner. I asked the waitress for the bill for the first time and we were completely forgotten (even though she confirmed it). I asked the owner again and he quickly and hastily said "give me €10 and I'll give you the change without specifying how much the bill was and without a receipt", then I started to take the money from my pocket, the time to take it and count it, he saw that I didn't have it all right away and disappeared completely from our eyes, even annoyed.... I was completely shocked. I understand the frenzy of work but this is unacceptable. I will never go back there again, even though I haven't tried their food which at this point, I'm not interested in trying. Not recommended.

The decor was well done with a warm and enjoyable vibe. Tasty pub food with a french twist. The plates are huge. Everything we had was nice and freshly made. The man in charge was awesome, he helps us make a decision on what to order as there was no English menu and my translator app was playing up. He was very helpful and understanding. I had came a had a problem with my credit card. The Boss gave me discount for a beer. Wow. Two days later, upon departure I realized I lost my jacket and guess who guard it for me ... It was rainig and I missed my taxi so they called me new one and.gave me a glass of water for free ...
