Read moreWe stayed at 3 different camping sites in Brittany this summer and this one was not only the most expensive but also the most scruffy. And as another person said not really within walking distance of the beach if you have lots of stuff to take and the weather is baking hot like we had it (not complaining about that though!) The beach(es) at La Torche are amazing, the quality of the sand, the cleanliness of the beach and the water and the general safety of the beach, but the camp site needs some investment. The swimming pool was pretty spotless but the volleyball pitch, open grass area and the washing facilities were either filthy or tired. I understand it is hard to stay on top of these things with so many people but you are charging quite a lot of money so the standards should be better. Saying that the owners were very friendly and helpful and it was lovely to be in France and staying in a relatively 'French' campsite. We are still curious as to why there is no hand soap provided in the toilets? And why the toilets are located in the same room as the washing up facilities?!||When we cycled around the area we noticed there were several other camp sites around, if we returned to this part of Brittany we would be looking at the other camp sites before this one.||Furthermore, this site claims to have Wifi. Don't be fooled, it has an appalling service which if you're lucky you will be able to use between 0730 and 0915 hours and that is all. So don't come here...
A fuir a tous prix.
Quand a votre demarche écologique.
