This place is run by very dishonest people - avoid it at all costs.||||There are no words to describe our awful experience here. We checked in for less than 12 hours as we drove to the ferry, intending to camp. In the end we barely used the facilities and yet got ripped off.||||We arrived around 9pm en route to the Euro Tunnel. On arrival we had dinner in the restaurant which was fine. Instead of pitching our tent decided to take a cabin so we could get a decent sleep. What a mistake! There was a two night minimum fee which we paid and a rather large deposit of €300. We Just paid it without arguing as we were so tired and we have never ever had a problem getting deposits back in hotels or campsites.||||The cabin itself was ok. A bit dated, the shower was one big wet room and the linen was quite old but it was clean. We fell straight into the beds (which we had to make ourselves), awoke early to get in the road. We made breakfast and then cleaned up and and repacked our car which was very quick as we had barely unpacked. ||||On departure we returned the key and the man said we would get our deposit (€300) back once the cabin had been checked. I asked if he could do it immediately while we were there but he said he was too busy as his wife was out. I wasn’t worried as we left it exactly S we found it having even mopped the shower room and stripped the beds. ||||Looking back I should have insisted but naively, I accepted and believed the man, as we were rushed to get on our way to the Euro Tunnel. Despite that I had a niggling suspicion that something wasn’t quite right so rang the next day to ask if our deposit had been refunded only to be screamed at by the female owner who accused us of leaving the place dirty. She said it took hours to clean and that she had to employ someone to do it. I queried how long it could possibly take since we left it very clean. She said there was a footprint on the (plastic) bench in the kitchen. Even if that was the case (which it wasn’t) was she trying to say this cost €300 to clean? How much does she pay her cleaner per hour? Even at €15 per hour that would mean it took 20 hours to clean a tiny cabin that we spent 12 hours in (9 of which we were sleeping!). She insisted and blankly refused to discuss it and hung up and now that we were far away we couldn’t prove she was lying. ||||We tried to dispute it with our bank but we had no recourse as we had no proof except our word. In the end I gave up as I had wasted too much energy, emotion and many phonecalls on it. I learned a good lesson to never leave without making someone has checked the...
Read moreWe stayed at this Camping during the second half of July 2022. There were 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children ages 10 through 2.5).||The mobile home was clean and had everything we needed.||The plancha on the outside deck worked very well and we had some very nice meals/meats.||||The camping site is very clean and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had mostly nice weather and we were able to go swimming in the upstairs pool with the waterslides. But even if it's overcast outside, the covered pool downstairs is a great option. And a beautiful beach is within walking distance (about walking distance). ||There is a little bar/snack on-site where you can eat pizza, crêpes (salty or sweet), fries, drinks, et etcetera. But if you want a real restaurant with more choices, you'll have to go into town.||||Thr location of the campsite is great. Close-by to Concarneau and other interesting towns to visit/see.||||Overall, I would give this camping a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Its a great value...
Read moreWe were allocated a very small camping pitch for our "premier" booking. The private cooking, showering and toilet facilities were very clean and in excellent order. Sadly, the pitch itself certainly didn't match up to the private utility block ! The pitch had no privacy at all and was overlooked. We couldn't use the lounge chairs and table as there simply was no space, and not even space to park our car ( they even suggested we park the car in the car park 100m away at the top of the hill ! The ground itself was unkempt, very uneven and had little grass. Mostly a mix of soil and weeds. The staff seemed to have little real interest in trying to help us. The new female receptionist was very pleasant, but had no authority, where the male manager had authority, but couldn't care less. All in, a very mixed and somewhat poor experience, which resulted in us leaving 3 days early having booked for a week. We certainly...
