Les Viviales - Résidence Services De La Giroderie — Hotel in Rambouillet

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Not for traveling through and definitely not for longer stay. The location of the hotel is convenient and the town and environment is beautiful but that's about it.

The hotel itself is very outdated, the shower-head is broken, the beds are a disaster (you would be better of by sleeping in your car), the kitchen is dirty, the in house Gym comes with broken, missing and cobweb covered appliances. Even the staff is not happy to see you. Checking in took a lot of patience from the desk manager. To be fair, we where 3 hours early but we solved this by checking out the town. The guy who runs the nightshift is very polite in contrast to the day-team. Overall experience 2/5 (just for the town).

Statement claimed by owner is very disturbing. As I said earlier, we were indeed early with checking in and we went to the city centre of Rambouillet to kill some time. We went back at 14:00 and went in to the room to drop off our luggage and went on some sightseeing. We stayed here for 4 days and left 1 day earlier because of the horrible beds, grumpy staff and bad hygiene of the room. The staff did not even bother to ask us why we were leaving a day in advance nor did they asked if we enjoyed our stay whilst checking out.

People, if you are considering sleeping at this place, just read the comment of the owner and you will know what kind of horrible person this is.

I had an incredible stay at Les Viviales – Résidence Services De La Giroderie. The rooms are absolutely spotless—truly the cleanest I have ever seen in my life. The attention to detail is unmatched, and it made my stay so comfortable and stress-free.

A huge thank you to the whole cleaning team, whose dedication and professionalism really stood out. The level of cleaning and care was beyond impressive, and it’s clear that she takes great pride in her work. The entire staff was also welcoming and attentive, creating an atmosphere that felt like home.

Arrived here by bike and cycled past it twice, even though I knew where it was...I am going to say that is because from the outside, it looks like the local water company’s head office rather than a hotel. Nonetheless, once inside the staff were excellent and tried to help me resolve an issue I had with my GPS. My room on the top floor was fine. The hotel does have a corporate feel about it, which is no bad thing. It’s a 15 minute walk into the town, a bit more to the lovely Château grounds. WiFi wasn’t great - seemed to be fine then went very slow. Anyway, it was a good...
