Premiere Classe Roanne - Perreux — Hotel in Roanne

I had a very clear idea what I was getting when I made this reservation having been to very simular discount hotels like this before. ||However what I was not expecting, and very much disliked was||1. VERY VERY strong cigarette smell in the room. Almost makes you gag when you walk in. If I was with my partner we most likely would NOT have stayed. (To add insult, the room had a no smoking sign on the door....)||2. Pudddle shower, no drainage so the shower duration was measured by how deep a puddle you wish to stand in and if you will tolerate the spillage into the bathroom sink and area.||3. Dirty and scuffed walls, gave the place an unclean feel.||4. Horrible coffee, I am a coffee drinker, I want my coffee so I will tolerate a bad cup, but I had one and no appetite for a second. Not even a croissant for breakfast, choices were sandwich bread, piece of bagette, pain viennois or apple sauce. Period. I was willing to pay the 5 euros for a couple cups a of coffee and a croissant but could not get that.||5.Crap 'free Wifi', OK maybe this is to be expected in a very cheap hotel, but I did a measure test and at .02 MBps download was almost insulting for today's standards.||||Small, simple, very basic minimums was expected, but also expected clean and functioning. ||||Next time I will pay 10euros more and go to their competiton and hopefully not have such a...

I just got into room 2 hours ago and had to write a review, room was really clean, fresh sheets, fresh towels (its really important for me because i have yikes on every hotel if i smell even slightest smell), provided with new unpacked cups , room was smelling nice, it was quiet, took a shower and im watching tv, also wifi was strong and with good signal (full). Lady working at reception was very nice, smiling and polite, she speaked English also with cute French accent, so that helped a lot because i know only few words of French language. Shower is small but practical, endless hot water supply, im not sure if there is restaurants or fast food nearby but town is so beautiful i would not regret walking around without needing my car at all. Fuyez, ne vous y arrêtez surtout pas!

Prix très bas, 38€ avec le petit déjeuner, mais.... Aujourd'hui jeudi 27 juin, canicule, 40°C largement dépassé et surprise quand vous arrivez devant la réception : une petite feuille vous indique que la climatisation est en panne !!

Et cela fait 2 semaines qu'il en est ainsi... pourtant les sites de réservation sur internet signalent que cet hôtel est climatisé. Et cela risque de durer jusqu'en septembre... On se fout de qui?? Tromperie sur la marchandise, limite arnaque...et pourtant refus de rembourser le montant déjà payé. Impossible de rester dans la chambre. C'est irrespirable, pas un brin d'air. J'ai dîné avec des collègues dans le restaurant juste en dessous. A 23h30 les gens avaient les portes et les fenêtres de leur chambre grande ouverte...bien qu'elles donnent sur la coursive. J'ai donc pris ma voiture, cherché un autre hôtel et donc réservé une deuxième chambre à Ibis budget à moins de 2km. Le jour et la nuit. Dernière expérience avec la chaîne première classe. Inutile de mettre des majuscules, ce type d'hôtel n'en vaut pas la peine... Rien qu'en regardant la façade du bâtiment vous êtes capable d'imaginer l'état de l'intérieur des chambres. Hôtel à fuir si vous souhaitez réellement dormir correctement. Et je souhaite du courage à la jeune personne de l'accueil qui doit gérer l'incompétence des gérants de cet hôtel. Une copie de ce message sera adressé à la maison mère, à Expedia où j'ai fait la réservation et surtout...
