We had a brilliant time at Les Chardons Bleus De La Turballe and would highly recommend it to families looking for a relaxing and fun getaway. The site was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. Our caravan was well-equipped and located in a quiet area, making it a peaceful base for our stay.
The pools were a real highlight. Both indoor and outdoor options were available, with plenty of sun loungers even during busy times. The beach nearby was absolutely beautiful: sandy, clean, and very easy to access.
The on-site camp shop was excellent. One tip is get there around 8am to order your pastries for the next morning. The takeaway service was great for quick meals, with tasty chips, pizza, and hotdogs, and the restaurant had a good range of options at reasonable prices.
The surrounding area was ideal for bike rides, with scenic paths and quiet roads. The local village was just a 30-minute walk or a short 5-minute drive away, perfect for an afternoon out.
A few things to keep in mind: we were at the edge of the campsite and unfortunately the WiFi didnât reach our accommodation. The space around our caravan was a bit limited, and we werenât able to park directly on our pitch â something Eurocamp didnât make clear, but there was plenty of parking and it was only a short walk away.
I would also recommend bringing a few extra items to make your stay smoother: â Extra cutlery (especially knives suitable for young children) â Toilet roll, small bin bags, hand soap, tea towels, and dishwasher tablets â Coffee or coffee capsules â thereâs a capsule coffee maker provided, but no capsules are supplied
All in all, a fantastic campsite with great facilities, a lovely beach, and lots to explore nearby. Weâd...
Read moreAfter many years going to France and Brittany being one of our favourite spots, I didnât think there was anywhere we hadnât been, so when we saw this park advertised we were naturally curious and decided to book, we were certainly not disappointed.||We arrived on the first day the site opened, we were able to get into our mobile home at 2.30pm which was great. We arrived at our 4 bedroom Ultimate home with hot tub and were stunned at its size, its in 2 parts with 3 bedrooms in 1 part and almost a self contained 1 bedroom annexe with own kitchen/lounge & en-suite in the other. The deck area was huge with each end under cover for shade and a big open area in between the whole place was overlooking the pine forest and was a great spot. Hot tub was hot and ready to go straight away. ||We ate at the site restaurant the first and last night, the food was excellent and well|priced, with the staff offering recommendations and the staff here are absolutely excellent. Everyone we met were so friendly and whilst we were the only English people on site we were never made to feel any different to the French guests. ||Pool areas are great, the outdoor pool is large but was rather chilly, but the indoor pool was really warm. Couple of slides outside also. ||From the bar staff, restaurant staff and the animation team they really are a friendly bunch who made our stay even more amazing. Keep hold of these staff as they make your site absolutely 5 star. ||The surrounding area is absolutely stunning, with access to a private beach and La Turballe is well worth a visit.||We had a truly amazing stay and didnât want to leave. We will most definitely recommend this to everyone and will...
