Camping Belle Rivière — Hotel in Saintes

Really a lovely site, the owner very friendly. Nice big pitches, not many people there. Right on the river, were they had a beach, next to the restaurant and bar. The site had EHU, Water, Chemical Toilet and Grey Waste. Nice Shower block and facilities. The weather was wonderful. There was a little Ferry, going across the river very cute. Nice walks along the river. Very close to the shop's Bakers, Supermarket, Butchers and a couple of restaurants and a little Market on a Tuesday selling Fruit and Vegetables, etc. Stayed 2 nights, we loved it. 14.44€ with ACSI card, great value....

A pretty and peaceful site right next to the river with grass and trees giving this a countryside feel. We stayed out of season and there were no bars or restaurants open but there are still local shops for breakfast treats. Facilities are great and there are lovely paths along the river for dog walking. Access to Saintes was by driving only, out of season, but it is well worth visiting this...

A very nice campsite by the river and a park used by locals at the weekends which makes for a good friendly atmosphere. The owner is friendly and helpful and the restaurant and bar offer good value, reasonably priced. The eels cooked with parsley and with dauphinois potatoes were delicious!
