This is by far the cleanest B&B I’ve ever stayed in.||Situated 1000 meters from the château de Milandes, and a 5-15 minutes drive from all major tourist destinations (4 castles and 3 towns classified as most beautiful in France) .||The rooms are spacious as are the bathrooms. |The decor is very tasteful and fresh. |The beds are oversized and very comfortable with super soft bedsheets. |The bathrooms have Italian showers with massage showerheads + hair dryer. ||The breakfast is very good, tasty with fresh pastries and breads, confiture, and meats and cheeses on demand. Full table service, restaurant style. ||A nice swimming pool with temperature controlled water for a nice refreshing touch.||The hosts are a lovely couple, very gracious and accommodating. ||This place is spotless. We booked this B&B for the location as we were working in the area for a few days, then having an extended holiday. The place was easy to find, parking available, a fantastically friendly welcome and the most stunning gardens and pool. The rooms are lovely, clean and tidy. I did miss having a kettle to make a cup of tea ( typical british!!) but other than that its a wonderful place to base yourself if you are exploring the Dordogne. Lovely hosts who welcomed us with a cool drink and a chat. My french isn't good and their english isn't perfect, but we got by. I'd come back again and highly recommend this B&B. A delightful place to stay. Fantastic setting in rural France, so quiet and with fantastic views. The daily breakfast was lovely, sitting on the terrace and watching the cows wander round a field nearby. The property is in a fantastic setting, surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers with a gorgeous smell of roses and lavender. No one else nearby. A lovely swimming pool and plenty of parking. Yves & Madeleine, the owners are lovely people, so friendly and always on hand to help and/or answer questions, very hard working.
