Domaine d’Aiguevive — Hotel in Sarlat-la-Canéda

We found our piece of Dordogne heaven! We pulled up the gorgeous drive and were in awe of the stunning property. This is the perfect place to stay to see the Dordogne area and you can see Domme and hot air balloons in the skyline. The cottage has been beautifully renovated and decorated. We stayed with another couple for four days and it was perfect for the four of us. There are three bedrooms upstairs two with ensuite bathrooms. The first floor has a full bathroom. The beds are super comfortable. The property is stunning- A walnut grove. A natural pool. Gorgeous shaded outdoor area to eat. We loved it! The location couldn’t be better. It was a five minute walk to the town of Cenac. Easy access to domme, la roque, Beynac etc. Close to Sarlat. Five minutes to canoeing on the Dordogne to see the castles from the water. (A must do!) Jean was easy to communicate with and his partner welcomed us to the property and explained what we needed. We will be back and will recommend this to our friends. Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine dans le magnifique Domaine d’Aiguevive. La maison d’Armelle à tout le confort et la propreté est irréprochable. Nous avons bien profité de la quiétude du beau jardin et de la piscine. Les activités ne manquent pas aux alentours (beaux villages et marchés, canoë sur la Dordogne, jardin à visiter avec escalade des falaises, etc …) et pour couronner le tout nous avons été très bien accueilli par Jean Xavier qui est très disponible et nous rend le séjour encore plus agréable avec ses conseils.
