4 of us stayed here for 1 night in September.
We were highly impressed with the property in all respects. The hotel is located in a charming and quiet village.
There is plenty of free parking at the rear of the attractive period property, which is accessed through a grand gateway.
The gentleman who greeted us was welcoming, providing a polite, discreet and efficient service.
We had booked 2 standard double rooms only €162 - breakfast is extra. Both rooms were relatively spacious, spotlessly clean and a refreshment tray was provided. The en-suite bathroom was compact, but there was plenty of hot water, toiletries and a hair dryer.
The bed was very comfortable and the bedding is of good quality.
The added bonus was the enormous sitting room upstairs, which we had to ourselves. Together with the use of a small well-equipped kitchen, these facilities were an unexpected and pleasant surprise.

Read moreThis pretty old stately home, a mixture between farmhouse and maison de maître, is a mix between b&b and hotel, in the best sence. Thr intimacy of a b&b and the service level of a hotel. We had the panoramic room, newly renovated and well equipped. No ac though, so it was warm.|Breakfast is varied and generous. |The garden is very pleasant with several "rooms" were you can relax. Parking is no problem. We arrived to a nearby train station and the taxi that was to pick us up wasn't there. The hotel owner came to our rescue, much appreciated. I would like to have given highest mark and if some small flaws are sorted out which I am sure they will be by the very professional owners, they absolutely deserve it. To mention 2: the clothes hanger arrangement is against a wall that soils your clothes, there are plenty of teas for breakfast but no breakfast tea. And the kack of ac. But we certainly don't mind...
Read moreI think this will be a very nice place to stay, but the owners at present seem to have little experience since I think they just took over the management of the hotel. When we arrived, they hadn't had their gas delivery so there was NO heat (in February). It came on after a couple of hours. The breakfast was extremely over priced since, although there was a toaster and a big bread board and knife...there was NO bread, all of the yoghurt was sweet, and there was only coffee in a thermos. The owner kindly went out to get us some croissants and made us coffee from the espresso machine in the house. The place is nice with a huge communal living room and kitchen and the breakfast room is complete wine barrels converted into tables. There is a lovely wine boutique as well. So the experience was mixed, but I think it...
