My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel pppfor one night, enticed by its promises of luxury and relaxation. However, our experience fell far short of expectations, leaving us thoroughly disappointed.||Upon arrival, we eagerly headed to the spa to unwind, only to find it overcrowded and lacking in amenities. Despite paying a hefty sum of 430 euros per night, we struggled to find a spot in the pool and were left to awkwardly perch our belongings on a bench due to the absence of available sunbeds. To add insult to injury, we were instructed to reuse our spa towels throughout our stay—a practice unheard of in establishments claiming to offer premium service.||The shortcomings continued at breakfast, where the meager selection left much to be desired. The absence of fresh vegetables beyond basic cucumbers and tomatoes was glaring, and our disappointment turned to disgust when my partner discovered mold in their bread. Additionally, my request for coffee with soya milk, due to a milk allergy, was botched as the coffee arrived mixed with regular milk, with soya milk provided separately—a baffling oversight for a supposedly upscale establishment.||Amidst these disappointments, the only saving grace was the dinner service, which exceeded our expectations with its quality cuisine and attentive waitstaff. However, this lone bright spot was not enough to salvage our overall impression of the hotel.||In summary, our stay left much to be desired. From the underwhelming spa experience to the lackluster breakfast offerings and concerning oversights in service, it is evident that this establishment falls short of its purported 5-star status apart from the fact that the premises are nicely furnished and we had a great experience...
Read moreI do not recommend this place at all. Here’s why:
First, the pricing is outrageous. A mere 12cl glass of Crémant, strictly measured, costs 16€—absolutely excessive. They also seem to have no sense of generosity or hospitality.
The spa is tiny and unimpressive. There’s only one sauna and one hammam, plus a few other underwhelming features. Worse, the floor is extremely slippery, which is a serious safety issue—completely unacceptable for such an expensive spa. People were also wearing swimsuits in the sauna, which is not how a proper sauna experience should be.
The beds were horribly soft, offering zero support. I woke up with terrible neck pain, which completely ruined the experience.
At the bistro, the vegetarian options were extremely limited. The only available dish had truffle, which I asked to be removed. The waitress was pushy and insisted on the truffle until I finally gave in. Service was unprofessional—no bread was offered while waiting, and the waitress ignored us when we tried to get her attention.
Other disappointing details: • The beer was warm at the bar, yet priced at 13€ per glass. • The elevator was broken inside. • Many other small but frustrating issues.
For 720€ for less than 24 hours, this place is simply not worth it, Michelin-starred chef or not. Don’t be fooled by their marketing! There are far better options elsewhere. I know that because I do a lot of...
Read moreWe booked this hotel for a stop over on our way to the south of France. I will start with the one good thing there is, the Spa. We had a very good massage, that was the only moment of the stay we felt we were in a 5 star hotel. For the rest of we think they have themselves their 5 stars. The biggest problem is they are not at all busy with the clients. There is an atmosphere of arrogance which does not make you feel at home at all. When you arrive, nobody to welcome you and pick up your luggage. In the bar after 1 drink you get the bill and also for dinner, we went to the auberge next door as we didn’t feel like having to sit up for a stiff 10 course meal in a Michelin star restaurant , it was so packed with tables they made us sit in the door opening and when we didn’t want that we got a smallest table in the corner where you had to squeeze yourself in the chair. We decided to leave but as this hotel is in the middle of nowhere and it was already after 8, we ended up going to bed without having dinner as there is no roomservice. We will certainly never go...
