This is our second visit to this lovely campsite, having stayed here for 10 days in July 2016. We were not disappointed when we returned this June, in fact things have only got better, if that could be possible. The campsite is quiet, peaceful and green, with direct access onto the Gulf de Morbihan, and onto a footpath around the waterside. With a level 1 mile walk along the road into the quiet village of Lamar-Baden there is access to the Wednesday and Sunday morning markets, a few bars, a small supermarket (Carrefore at Baden on way to the site) and usual village shops. The quality of the site facilities is way beyond any that we have previously experienced in UK or France despite extensive camping experience; they have to be seen to be believed. This is not the site you should come to if you want bouncy castles and evening entertainment in the bar, but if you want to relax and enjoy a quiet natural environment then this site will delight you. There is no pool at the moment but one is being installed right now. Free Wi-fi appears to be across the site as we can pick it up at the far end. Staff are really helpful. The site is also now listed as an ACSI site, although it does not appear in my 2019 guide book, so must be a...

Compared to the photographs the site felt a little more cramped that I had expected but this didn't prove to be much of a bother. Very shady with some lovely large trees. The staff were excellent throughout, really accommodating and helpful. Morning baked goods were really nice. When we arrived the shop seemed a little understocked but this was fixed the next day! Location is excellent and the beach is just a few steps away. Its a long sandy beach that was great for the kids to play on. The only complaint would be that we were initially put on a pitch on the at the southeast most corner of the site. This was a bit muddy from the recent rain. A huge ants nest appeared and when we mentioned it to the staff we moved to a nearby free pitch. Thank goodness we did as when the next (and out only!) rainy day came the pitch we were on quickly turned into a quagmire and would have been unsuitable for a family tent. Overall a lovely site, just watch...

When we arrived we saw the reserved spot for our van which we weren’t happy with (too much sun and too close to neighbours). The staff member was very helpful and allowed us to camp on the other side of the service building, which was excellent for us. Only downside for us are the toilets which weren’t cleaned after 24hrs and therefore really dirty. with a camping ground at max capacity it would be great to have them cleaned more often (since some visitors unfortunately seem not to know how to...
