We were booked in here as part of a Gulf of Morbihan cycle touring holiday with Abicyclette (an excellent cycle tour company)|We’d paid a premium to stay in “premier” quality hotels. Arrived late afternoon having ridden for several hours in pouring rain.||Couple of points to make here:||1. No assistance was offered with several panniers to be offloaded.|2. Had to ask if there were any facilities with which we could dry our wet clothes; got the impression we’d asked for something impossible, but were told we could use a tumble dryer on site, but no instructions how or where this service was.|3. Standard rooms are too small to have regular luggage and bicycle panniers; we upgraded for an extra €40.00 per night, although this was waived on checking out.|4. If you happen to need to store your bicycle in the rack; beware, it’s located below decking which leaks rain between the slats; okay if you have a rental, not okay if it’s your own.||If you’re touring Morbihan and need to stay in Arzon perhaps look for somewhere more tuned into looking after cyclists.||In summary, it’s a bit of a Holiday Inn Express moment; definitely not the three...
Read moreWe were attracted by the website and comments made by people from MacAdventures who had stayed at that hotel. It was a good experience for my wife and I and happy to recommend this hotel. The rooms are a little small and we took a budget one, no proper shower was a disappointment (you need to hold the shower in your hand) and the lighting in the room is weak. Apart from that it is quiet, clean and well managed. Breakfast is great and most enjoyable. It was used mostly by French people like us retired. The location is excellent being close to the leisure harbour but far enough to be left in peace. Lots of restaurants around and well placed for walking which we did most days. Frederic the manager and owner is very helfpul and always available (nearly always). The cost in September is also reasonable. Overall a...
Read moreGreat location and friendly service. We stayed here during the heat of the summer and they don’t have air conditioning or fans. The windows open but there were no screens on the windows and our room overlooked the parking lot so there were people walking by our window all hours of the night. The rooms were clean, adequate for a one night stay and directly across from the port so it was an easy walk to entertainment and shopping. There were other hotels in town but this one was the best price, very affordable for the location. If they installed some ceiling fans, it would be a great improvement. Breakfast wasn’t worth the $14euro cost for yogurt and pastries but again, it was convenient. All in all, we would stay here again but would bring a fan if it was...
