Hotel Ambassadori Goderdzi — Hotel in Autonomous Republic of Adjara

I had a week with my girlfriend and her 9 y.o. daughter from 5 AUG 2024 till 11 AUG 2024.

The day we arrived half of the hotel was restricted for visiting due to some VIP stay. We were given lunch with 4 hours delay and were asked to stay in our rooms. In the evening they didn't want to let us into the restaurant, though another family with hungry kids joined us. Finally we managed to sneak into the restaurant and made an order. We waited for 100 minutes, after which only two plates were delivered. The problem is the place is in the middle of nowhere and it is the only way you can eat there.

My further stay there demonstrated that the restaurant (mostly service) there is miserable.

Courses are delivered within 40-60 minutes, never for everyone at once. In the strange order, like dessert first and main dish later. The waiters were confused at the orders they took. They were bringing extra dishes and started to talk aggressively that it was our fault and we ordered something we didn't do. There was a case when waiter didn't ask a guest about the order, taking order from only one person and running away without even paying attention. There were constant errors in the bills, so it had to be double checked, otherwise you could pay for something you didn't order.

My girlfriend and her kid had poisoning the first day we arrived here. I am not sure what the reason, but other families complained in messenger chat that they had issues with that as well.

Calls to the reception desk like "please bring two more glasses, because we are three persons there and there is only one glass" were completely ignored.

Last but not lease negative thing about this hotel is the fact that they have slow and broken internet connection. It was impossible to work from there. So forget about your remote work there. I had to take some says off, because I couldn't work, though I planned to do so. At the end of my stay the internet connection disappeared for the whole day. The manager said that it is not their problem, but the problem of the local provider. That is it.

There are, of course, good things about this place. But for me it was a disappointment. I will never stay there again and I won't recommend any of my friends to do so.

And as a cherry on they cake: they misspelled the surname of my girlfriend. So every day we saw "Welcome twisted_surname". Very...

We had an amazing winter vacation because of the hotel , and special Thanks for Mr Iraki ( the hotel manager ) and his staff and big hug for Mrs Lizi paqsadze she is smiley and polite girl she served us whole our staying at hotel .

The best things in hotel location and view (all rooms with breathtaking view ) spa and reception staff speaking English fluently quality of food with reasonable prices the ski activities and staff are wonderful they are serving you from bottom of their heart snowcat vehicle availability saved us and other guests to reach to the hotel during the storm spacious rooms

The points should be improved the staff of restaurant should speak English fluently to understand the guest’s order the smell of sewage in toilet some time spread it in room at night time should improve the food menu of the restaurant because is very limited, we stayed 5 days we fed up to keep eating same dishes windows and door are air leaking it’s should be sealed one of waiter’s restaurant he is tied his hair , he was extremely rude with us from day one , we were to families we tried to avoid him , he MUST improve his behavior with guests. the speed of internet it’s extremely weak

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Ambassadori Goderdzi. The receptionist, Demetre, was not only helpful and welcoming but also showcased his talent as a DJ. He played Indian/Hindi club music upon our special request, which added a unique touch to our stay and created a fun and lively atmosphere. The stunning views surrounding the hotel were simply breathtaking, providing a picturesque backdrop for relaxation and enjoyment.||The spa and swimming pool facilities at Ambassadori Goderdzi were top-notch. I indulged in some pampering at the spa, and the swimming pool offered a refreshing and rejuvenating experience. It was the perfect way to unwind and recharge during my stay.||The only slight shortfall was that there were no open restaurants after 10 pm. However, I understand that this was due to the offseason and limited guest numbers.
