Tsinandali Resort — Hotel in Kakheti

· Horrible experience, especially if you cannot speak Georgian ! Here is the list of things that were horribly wrong; Check-in was a nightmare because they would not acknowledge my room upgrade, they insisted I was wrong, in the end it was an error on their part * Had problems communicating with staff as most of them did not speak English * Most of the staff was inexperienced and lacked basic customer service skills and were RUDE * Internet was down for 3 days in our room * No water on 3 occasions * The breakfast was good, but the food for lunch / dinner was NOT GOOD * Overall all the services were very poor with incompetant staff * The toilet was broken, it looked like it was going to fall over * The hot tub was never hot as they are too cheap to turn on the heater * Where is the Spa as it is part of their name ??? * Our Suite did not have a Fridge ! that's a first for us, we complained about this * BE AWARE of this Place, we would not recommend this hotel as it was a Nightmare, maybe it was just bad luck ! Brand new hotel in the heart of Kakheti, it is located behindTsinandali Estate, the hotel is surrounded by green vineyards and gardens, and has all amenities to make it a luxury 4 star hotel. The decorations preserve old Georgian architecture style with modern elements, the hotel has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, large restaurant and bar area, vine cellars , and high standard well equipped rooms. A standard double room has a balcony and windows open to see caucasian mountains and colourful valleys. They produce local delicious wine and food is very tasty as well.
