Hosts greeted us warmly and served us coffee and cookies. The woman of the house speaks only Georgian and Russian, but her son speaks English quite well. Bathrooms are all en suite, with each room having its own private bathroom rather than one shared facility. Guests do need to walk through the common kitchen/dining space to get to the bathrooms though, which is particularly annoying in the middle of the night. The bedrooms are nice, though the walls are quite thin (we wore earplugs at night because of the noise coming from the common area and the snoring from the room beside ours) and the doors have frosted glass windows for some reason, so the light from the hallway comes through at night. It was fine enough for 30 GEL/person (breakfast is optional for 15 GEL/person), but we'll try a different place next time...

Since we drank a lot of their homemade wine, he even drove us to the guest house: a big, recently renovated house situated in a big, beautiful garden. We were greeted by his family who set up our room which was modern, clean and spacious. Also the bathroom is new, big and clean, but note that it's not en suite to the room (which wasn't a problem for us). We enjoyed the evening rain under the covered sitting area in the garden (with homemade wine and fruit) had a chat with the friendly owner and slept very well in the comfortable beds. Breakfast we ate again in the restaurant a few minutes down the road. A beautiful experience in...
Read moreOne of the best price to quality ratio places I have ever stayed! Everything is perfect! The rooms are large and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and clean with great water pressure. Large shared kitchen with everything you need. Private secure parking also and great wifi. We extended our stay here as it was so peaceful. We could use the washing machine for free and dry our clothes in the garden. The host maya was so kind and welcoming. She even gave us two bottles of home made wine and always was friendly and made us feel at home.
Honestly can’t say enough good things about this place 👌 if you’re wanting to explore the town there is no better place....
