Nice place to come down and have a cup of coffee. That’s it. Over a dozen of college kids, don’t knowing what they doing, who pretend to be a waiters , but scared to approach you until you call them . Nobody speak English, even those who say they do, their vocabulary and understanding of questions asked is next to zero. Food and drinks are terribly overpriced. I ordered a supposedly their best dish , a veal shashlyk , and I don’t remember when I tasted a such bad tasting meat in my recent time . After waitress served me a dish , which consisted of meat , she asked me if I would like to have some kind of souse , I almost fell speechless, I hold myself back from not being rude, but then I thought, that she was probably a vegan, and has no idea how people consume meat , as well she was never been taught how to serve it properly. So , like I said above, I tasted the worst meat not just in Georgia, but anywhere else in my recent life. Forget about price, I paid like I had a meal in the restaurant at For Season. Well , unfortunately, I forgot about my bad experience at this place and stopped by again couples of days later. I just decided to have a glass of wine and some appetizer. Well , first of all , a waiter didn’t allowed me seat where I wanted, explained to me , than one person can’t seat at the large table, those are reserved for big parties he said. There were no reservation signs , by the way . And only large tables are situated in a nice , covered from direct sun or wind zones, which is nonsense. Well , I ordered a glass of white wine and an appetizer. It took them long enough to bring the wine , despite the fact, that about a dozen young waiters girls and guys being hanging around, pretending doing something . Well , finally I got my wine . I am sure, that most of regular folks would have that wine with pleasure, but I am happen to be a professional in wine makings industry and long term wine drinker . I called the waiter and pointed him out on the fact, that wine is spoiled. On a top of having a cork taste , it also had a taste of wine which has been opened while ago and basically wasn’t a wine how winemaker would like to present it to a consumer. I asked for another glass of wine and from a bottle, that should be open new . In a response, waiter came back with an open bottle of wine and told me , that he talked to a manager and manager ended confirmed , that wine was opened long ago , and they have a policy to serve wine to a customers which was opened up to 17 hours. Waiter did pore a wine from that same bottle into my glass to the top . Meanwhile I asked about my food order and was told that kitchen is extremely busy and I need to wait sometime more . Well , I asked for a check, canceled a food order , paid 33 lari for two glasses of spoiled wine, which I didn’t drink but just sip a little bit, and left. I am not a person who make a seen or bring a scandal. I just never ever come back to this place , pretending to be a fancy one and in fact is so awful. Hope some people find my...
Read moreI had the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant. When we arrived we had to ask one of the 5 waiters for menus and got them in Georgian first. Then we asked for English menus and got them after some time. When we were ready to order we had to approach the waiter our self again. We ordered 5 dishes and some drinks. We got the 2 dishes (salad and a sauce) pretty fast but after that we waited and waited for the 3 other dishes, but nothing came. We could see that the guests at the other table that arrived 20 minutes after us, got their food, even the same dish we waited for. We tried to approach a waiter and she said she would ask. But she never came back. We tried to approach another waiter and she literally ran away from us. After waiting 1 hour we got some really dry bread and they told us that one of the dishes they could not make because they did not have nuts. They told us that after waiting 1 hour!!! We still did not hear anything about the last dish. We decided to leave and told them we would only pay for the drinks. But a manager came and he played stupid and told us we had to pay for everything. He laughed at us and told us we could stay for a coffee for free... We left hungry and found a great kebab place...
