We have used this hotel for the night stop while crossing Germany several times over the past five years. Honestly - nothing spectacular, nothing amazing, however sometimes you just need to know that everything is going to be ok - beds comfy, rooms clean, bathroom light and clean, and staff friendly. ||||Several practical examples. Once we travelled with a dog and a cat - no problem admitting them both in a room. When we asked some hot water for our old and sick doggy - a nice iron kettle with hot water was provided free of charge. ||Another time when we checked in really late in the evening and asked about a chance to get a hot dinner - staff were very welcoming and suggested we make our orders before bringing things to the room, so that as soon as we are settled the food shall be ready and waiting. Actually, the dinner was really delicious - which is really often not the case in Germany. We had some exotic chicken meal with mangoes, pizza, salmon tartar, herbal teas, etc. ||||Rooms are spacious, light, and quiet - despite the building facing a square and two streets. TIP: do not forget to indicate if you need non smoking room.||TIP: rooms on higher floors have a beautiful overview of this small, but cute town.||||Breakfast menu is standard, nothing special, but the usual choice is fine, including several cereals, several types of fresh bread and many healthy breads (with rye, etc), some cold meats and sausages, salmon, veggies, eggs, etc. The omelet was very average - but oh well, it's a rare commodity to find a really good one, not yucky and not overbaked, fluffy like a cloud and with a pleasant buttery aftertaste...||||By the way, the park next to the hotel is small, but really clean, tidy, with nice benches. ||||All in all - if you need a cozy spot for a stopover during family travel, if you like simple places with guaranteed standards and friendly service - Kaiserhof...
Read moreGreat location, wonderful summer weather and interesting business in my own home country Germany - what else could you have at a business trip with collegues coming from all over the world? ||Now the reality: inside room temperature 31° - air condtion not working, Nodbody feels/ was responsible for clients needs ".......we are just working here" Some of the employees were friendly and tried their best, but do need professional advice.||I hope very much, that my collegues do not think that this reflects the typical German standard and the way how customers are normally treated - to be honest: I as a German do...
Read moreNice hotel, simple, very clean, very friendly. In the middle of town. My father in law stayed there a few times when visiting. The rooms are simple, nothing special decor-wise but they are clean and tidy and fine for a good nights sleep. This is also reflected in their prices. Everywhere is light and friendly. They sometimes also delivered parcels to the reception when we are not in, which is really nice because it isn't really their job we are really grateful for this as well. A really...
