My family (spouse and 2 teenagers) stayed here for 3 nights. We arrive by train: No car, no bikes.
At the Günzburg train station you can get a cab to the hotel... about 15 euros. You can coordinate the pickup when you checkout
The location was selected because it is at walking distance to Legoland (about 25 minutes).. or 14 euros and 4 minutes in taxi. It worked great for us. The path is very safe and straightforward. There are also taxis outside Legoland.
The staff was very sweet and nice. I asked for extra pillows and they kindly took them to the room. No complains here.
The breakfast was good enough for us: scrambled eggs, sausages, cold meets, cheese, breads, spreadables, yogurts and cereals and fruits that looked canned, not fresh. I saw some gluten-free breads. No complaints here either.
The room was visibly clean in general, however. No mini-fridge, no kettle... no extras in general. You can find linen, towels and toiletries as expected. There's A/C. There was a foul smell on the carpet; very noticeable.
The beds. 2 of the beds were regular beds, 80 cm width I guess. Good mattress.
The other 2 were very likely 1 sitter sofa-bed per person. These ones are really hard... no person above 50 Kg should be allowed to sleep there.
The gas station nearby have only drinks, chips and cookies to eat. There's one restaurant next door, but we found the prices a bit steep. There's nothing else nearby to grab food. You can use one of the delivery apps webpage to order a pizza. That was a life saver.
Overall, yes: I would recommend it and I would stay there again. Simple and budget-friendly hotel to go to Legoland if you're...
Read moreRead moreNeat hotel built literally in the middle of nowhere (looks like the farmland), which did not convince me due to poorly equipped rooms. Otherwise, the cleanliness of Hotel and Room was on a solid level, the staff is also solidly friendly. ||Average breakfast. ||Compared to all the surrounding hotels, this one offer absolutely nothing of a touch of nearby Legoland. Near the gas station, which causes many "suspicious" foreigners to stop in the hotel parking lot, which makes a family with children not feel the safest.||||GOOD:||- Convenient overnight location for a trip to Legoland||- Close to grocery stores||- Good price compared to those hotels in the Legoland camp||- Large room (everything else connected with rooms - see below)||- Free big parking!||||BAD:||- Modestly furnished, outdated and impractical rooms (including broken inventory)||- The hotel is built in the middle of nowhere so the walks with children in the evening could a bit scary||- The proximity of the gas station offers many foreigners walking around the parking lot next to the hotel||- I don't see anything in this Hotel to be as a "Family friendly". ||- In comparison with other Hotels and almost all Restaurants nearby, this Hotel does not provide any single feeling to being close to Legoland||- Children bad was so hard that I thought that it is from wood||- The possibility of "robotic check-in" (without a receptor) in late hours is for me disadvantage||- During working hours making of check-in is uncomfortable. Smiling but a little ignorant receptionists gave us a tablet to make enter personal data and not helping at all (I would prefer "classic"...
We bought this acommodation with the package from the Legoland (came with 2 tickets to the park and an over night stay for each person), the price was reasonable, the parking was for free and the walking distance to the Legoland is about 25 minutes, which is nice. ||||It is nice B&B hotel, nothing else. The room was clean enough besides the carpet underneath the bed, there were few peanuts left from the previous guest I guess. During the hot days like we have had in summer 2018 the room we got (#210 I guess) was very warm inside, we could not sleep well during the nite even the windows were open. So I assume there is no AC in any room..count on that.||||The front-desk only operates 6 AM-11PM I guess, so if you arrive late night, there is neat self check kiosk in front of the entrance door. no bar available, no meals served besides the breakfast, so do not expect to have a beer before bed (you can purchase the bottled one from the front-desk, but the one we have had was not soo goo). There is Shell gas station near by so I bet they sell some stuff there. ||The Wi-Fi is for free there.||Breakfast was good enough, it had everything you and the children would need. We only did not find any fresh fruit there and you would expect it at least during the summer time. Everything else was just great, also the dripped coffee was pretty good for the breakfast coffee.||I would recommend this hotel as the B&B with reasonable accommodation is worth it. We...
