Boutique Hotel Villa am Ruhrufer — Hotel in Mülheim an der Ruhr

Checking in , poor waiting for gate intercome bring our luggage by our self,||In our room with patio. Hairs on the pilow and floor not clean the patio teras table and ants everywhere||Musquitos in our room and from earlyer guests dead musquitos on the wall,||Bed was great good sleep, bathroom rainshower great but after a few minutes the room was soaked, ||Parking your expensive car ,is outside the hotel on a open parking lot oposite the hotel not a guarded lot.||Breakfest was great like most luxury hotels, but after we take place and waited for a bout 10 minutes and no waitress there my wife went to the reception and the receptionist was also the waitress, and we hadt to ask by ourself for eggs.?||A second capaciono we liked but the waitress( receptionist) was gone!||Checking out, ther was nobody , she was in the kitchen for other guests, and hadt no time for us to checking out, after 20 minutes aim went to the front door intercome, and get response,||We dind't feel we where pamperd the was no service at all, we hadt to ask, and looking around for somebody, you can not run a hotel by yourself, even if its a small hotel you need at least more than one personel.!||We geth a recomended restaurant, tomatos,at the oposite the hotel, its just a dirty, bier garten cafe.. You have to recommend 4/5 star restaurants!||But anyway, its not a SLH hotel,garden plants have to be trimmed, now it looks like wilderness, ||It can not compared to four seasons hotel/ resorts service and cleanless.||Sorry to tell||Hotel looks greatt and interior is awesome. But no servise at all and...

I stayed here for the weekend with my wife, in one of the suites.||||The hotel does not stand out as much from the road and both myself and my wife, arriving later, had to look closely (the gate is normally closed something I did not expect).||Once we made it there it was worth looking for though. Great service with very friendly staff, the suite we were in was beautifully designed and the bed is excellent.||The breakfast in the morning was amazing, as we are vegetarian I was afraid choice may be limitted, but as they offer very personal service I should not have worried. The spa area is great for such a small hotel, the 10m pool is somewhat narrow, so you want it to be quiet if you want to work out.||||Looking for improvements, actually I can't think of much, really a fabulous hotel, perhaps the only drawback is the region, not that much to do (which is why we wanted a great hotel to begin with).||||Dinner options at the hotel are non-existent, I do recommend the restaurant am Kamin in town, or Kais on the other side of the river. You could probably get something right nearby (small restaurant across the road) but nothing in the same class as this hotel without a short (taxi) ride.||||Well recommended, one of the best hotels I've had the pleasure to stay and I'll definitely go there...

This small luxury hotel is actually located nowhere. But it is a beautifully converted villa specialized in golf arrangement. For us as non-golfers, it made a good stopover on our trip to Southern Germany. We were appointed a terrace room at the annex. ||||Plus||- Small, personalized.||- Reception by very friendly lady/night porter.||- Comfortable beds, good aircon.||- Modern, design.||- Non buffet style breakfast with attention to detail.||- Free parking on the hotel premises (or also safe outside).||- Quiet. ||||Minus||- Many gadgets like automatic lighting at night. Doing everything you do not like it to do. ||- Our terrace was directly behind the smoking area, potentially giving noise till late. A nasty smell into our room; not able to open the window/door.||- The nice small pool is separated from the breakfast area/restaurant-bar only by a glass wall. Eating and seeing people swim and v.v. does not work for me. ||- Advertising Bulgari amenities, offering something different (more sustainable, so actually it is a plus, but it would be nice when the hotel would keep their internet site updated. ||||Can recommend this hotel as a stopover. Will return as long as it stays a SLH hotel or as long as it is bookable...
