The motel is a short walk from the S bahn train station-S4, S5, or S6 to Feuerbach (which leads to a steep hill up to the motel). One may also take the U tram-U7 or U15 to Sieglestraße (which is a flat walk to the hotel).
Check-in was seamless and the room was ready on time. There are multiple elevators that take you right by the front desk and the lounge (one is at the bottom of the steps and the other is near the glass walls that overlook the outdoor area). The room had everything that was needed despite being tight. The entire space including the bathroom was clean and well stocked. Our WiFi worked perfectly, and the room was quiet enough for a peaceful sleep on a cozy bed. Their breakfast has a nice array of options (vegetarian, vegan, etc.), including ketogenic food which is hard to find at many accommodations.
All the staff whom I interacted with were courteous and professional, except for one of the bartenders. He’s an older man, average height, with a dark close haircut, and may be a foreigner. He was working with a younger man on Friday night/Saturday morning (October 26th, 2024) around 00:48 when I purchased my order. The staff member in question made a homophobic and racist remark based on my partner’s drink of choice. The only reason I did not leave 5 stars is because of that experience.
We hope that this offense is addressed and that all of your employees are trained to keep their personal opinions...
Read moreI am a frequent visitor to Motel One hotels across Germany. This one is no exception to their standards - in general very good for what you pay for, in a practical location, with a good sense for style and design of their public areas and of their rooms.
Only the staff at the bar was an exception this time - in a negative way.
ignoring us, even though we’re sitting at a table right in front of the bar. After waiting quite some time, we were waving to the bar tender and asked if somebody’s would come to take our order.
He made us understand, that there actually is Service Personal to take orders, but we should come to the bar and give our order, that would be faster.
A bit annoyed we placed our orders at the bar. And the only thing he then was fast with, was to come to our table, in front of the bar, and asked us to pay at first. Our statement, that we are hotel guests was noted, but didn’t change his intention.
We expressed our dissatisfaction, that we shall pay for our drinks prior we got them. But also that was ignored.
And the icing on the cake was, that he made no intentions to give us a receipt for the credit card payment. Only after we reminded him on it, after he had left our table.
and last but least, the Tom Collins was made without and drop of sugar Sirup.
So thank you, but no thank you. There is room for...
Read moreGreat value for money! We had a really pleasant stay at Motel One Stuttgart. The hotel is clean, modern, and very well-maintained, with a nice design that feels both comfortable and stylish. The rooms are cosy and practical, exactly what you need for a city trip.
We did have a small issue with the shower, the water temperature stayed extremely hot, even when turned to the coldest setting. However, we really appreciated how the staff handled it. They were very understanding and offered us free breakfast as compensation, which was a very nice gesture and shows their excellent customer service.
The location is very convenient, especially if you are travelling by car. There is easy access to the hotel, and parking was simple and stress-free. Public transport is also nearby, making it easy to get around Stuttgart.
We also really enjoyed the bar and the lounge area, it’s beautifully decorated and has a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for having a drink in the evening. The reception area is very welcoming, and the staff were always friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The elevator was very practical, especially when carrying luggage.
Overall, we were really happy with our stay at Motel One Stuttgart and would definitely recommend it. Great service, stylish design, and very good value we’ll happily come back next time we...
