Sometimes ratings do not always are about how an accommodation looks. Sometimes it is about how people react. Yesterday after a 6 hour travel my family and I arrived at the hotel for our stop. We have two younger kids so we do not want to travel 10 or 11 hours. We where happy to arrive at the hotel, but then came to a sad conclusion. The carpet in the room was to high and triggered my allergic reaction to dust. Totally and fully my fault. I know I am allergic, but we made a wrong judgement call and expected it to be ok. We already where checked in, but I decided that this was not going to work for me and that we needed to inform the hotel that we would not stay. We understand how a business works and last minute cancellations are terrible, not nice and not good for a business. So we where prepared to be fully charged for the room. Nevertheless the owner of the hotel a really nice lady decided that we would not be charged 1 single euro. This is the proof of a really nice person and how people could react, not how they should!! People sometimes stay people. It was clearly our fault, but the lady decided to show a big heart and wished us a safe travel to our house. We would like to thank you for this and definitely without any doubt rate this hotel with the 5 stars!!! Nice people, nice hotel, unfortunately it did not worked for me and I am sorry for any inconvenience I caused.
Greetings Martin Wilbrink and ofcourse the rest...
Read moreWe have been traveling in Europe a combined 40 years on business and this was the single longest stay we have ever had at any hotel in Europe! Nine nights for business and the hotel met and exceeded our wishes and requirements. We were given a large room with sleeping area in a loft and living/work area down below, facing the back garden which is quiet and away from the very busy road out front. Our client was given a large room right below us, also facing the quiet side of the hotel's garden. The staff was excellent, very friendly, professional, spoke English very well. ||Breakfast was great, fresh, a very good selection and eggs made to order for no additional cost. ||The breakfast is very much worth the 9 Euro per person charge. Wireless internet in the room worked perfectly, or you had the option to plug in your laptop to the wall socket. ||We celebrated my wife's birthday while here, and the hotel staff created a wonderful ambience at breakfast and even helped me arrange a little gift. ||Everything about the Roessle was great. Nearby restaurants include a cozy German place where we ate four times during our stay. The prices and the service and the food there were all excellent. A nearby Greek restaurant and even a pizza delivery service made our stay feel like home. (And the pizza was some of the best I...
