Hotel Scholz — Hotel in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Aalen

I stayed at the Scholz hotel for one night. Check-in was swift and the lady nice. The reception closes quite early (at 22:00h?), so I took the hotel key with me.||Location-wise the hotel is some 3 or 4 km out of town, so you either need a car or you take the public bus (bus stop near the hotel).||The room was nice sized and very clean. Nice Hotel with separatly owned restaurant next door, which is reachable through the Hotel. Pricing good and not too far out of town. The Italian restaurant next door is very wellproced, good food and service. Wifiin the Hotel is free and fast, except if you have a room right at the back of the hotel then sometimes there are problems. Check-in/out: Schneller als mein WLAN zu Hause Rein, Schlüssel geschnappt, raus – zack, zack! Kein Drama, nur nette Gesichter und Tempo, als würd’s Olympia-Gold für Check-in geben.

Frühstück: Ein Buffet, das meinen Magen umarmt Das Frühstück ist der Wahnsinn: Brötchen knusprig wie frisch aus dem Ofen, Käse und Wurst in Hülle und Fülle, und der Kaffee kickt wie ein Energy-Drink. Ich hab schon überlegt, hier einzuziehen, nur fürs Buffet. Abendessen & Zimmerservice: italien trifft schwäble Ländle. Das Restaurant (Familienbetrieb, wie süß!) serviert Essen, das so lecker ist, dass ich fast geheult hab. Zimmerservice? Wie ein Food-Lieferdienst, aber mit Herz und null Liefergebühr. Nach ‘nem langen Workshop-Tag genau das, was man braucht. Zimmer: Gemütlich wie Omas Couch Sauber, bequem, WLAN läuft – was will man mehr? Kein Schicki-Micki, sondern ehrliche Schwäble-Gemütlichkeit. Perfekt, um nach ‘nem Tag voller Technik-Gequatsche abzukippen. Fazit: Mein Workshop-Happy-Place Hotel Scholz ist wie ein guter Kumpel: immer da, immer lecker, immer unkompliziert. 4,5 Sterne – den halben Stern klau ich, weil’s keinen Schoko-Brunnen beim Frühstück gibt ;) Nächster Workshop?
