Lindenhof — Hotel in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Mosbach

Went with group of friends and had a single room for two nights, which was clean and tidy the bathroom was functional. My room (No 21) had no Air conditoning but to be honest for $45 Euros I could not complain albeit I could imagine it being very warm during really hot weather which I did experience on one of the nights. My bed was a single bed and a bit on the hard side I had to ask for a spare pillow as the one on the bed was very thin and gave no head support...(minor point!)||||As per one of the reviews when you arrive you have to walk up some stairs to the reception. Then just look into the restaurant area next to reception and the staff will come and assist you. The manager was very helpful and despite his broken English and my total lack of German speaking ability was very friendly and communicated very well.||||I did not have breakfast or any form of meals so I cannot comment on prices or quality.||||Overall not a bad place situated in the centre of the town. We came across this delightful family-run hotel off the beaten track, on our way from Heidelberg to the Romantic Road. We wanted a room for the night before dark, so turned off the route 37 at Mosbach. The Hotel Lindenhof is located at Martin-Luther Str 3, Mosbach-Neckarelz. Don't be put off if it looks unstaffed, just call out or open the door to the restaurant and the owners will appear.||For a mere 60€, we had a beautifully-furnished large room, newly renovated bathroom with under-floor heating a large shower, and a delicious and filling breakfast buffet. Incredibly good value in my opinion, after we had paid much more for far less impressive rooms with no breakfast! We arrived at the hotel and were warmly greeted and automatically given a key to a free garage for our motorcycle as requested.||The room was simple with plenty of storage and a very good bathroom.||When we visited the restaurant we were given an menu in English. We chose a Lindenhof platter for 2. This consisted of a large salad and a hot plate full of food, this would of been enough for 4 but we did our best.||The following morning we had one of the best breakfasts that we have had in Germany.
