Ferienwohnung Christa — Hotel in Verwaltungsverband Oberes Renchtal

We stayed at Ferienwohnung Christa for a few days in January. We used it as a base to explore the Black Forest, including Baden-Baden, Triberg, and crossing over into Strasbourg, France. It was a good location for the day-trips we were taking. The apartment itself was very comfortable, with a full kitchen. Very clean. ||||It's worth mentioning that the apartment is up on a mountain. Our car had a hard time getting up the road in the snow and ice, so if you visit in winter, be prepared. No WiFi available is.||||There is a good restaurant down the hill in the town, Hotel Hirsch. Such fantastic facilities, such a marvelous view from the balcony! But what this place misses is some atmosphere. If you've just come home from a day's skiing or driving through the Black Forest, you want to sit down and a have a nice wine while looking at the night sky, or cook a special meal for the occasion in the wonderful kitchen, but this place somehow just lacks the atmosphere to turn a comfortable stay into a truly...

El edificio es viejo y la primera impresión que nos dió al llegar es que no era como se veía en las fotos. Pero una vez dentro, el apartamento está muy bien equipado y bien cuidado. Además tiene unes vistas preciosas y está en una zona muy tranquila. Hay que tener en cuenta que está en una zona con muchas pendientes, en verano las pendientes no son ningún problema, pero con nieve habría que tenerse en cuenta. No hay parking pero nosotros no tuvimos problemes porque aparcábamos en la misma puerta ya que no había muchos vecinos. El pueblo es pequeño pero tiene de todo y es muy bonito. En cuanto a la localización en la Selva Negra quedan lejos sitios muy turísticos como por ejemplo Triberg, en cambio está al lado de una de las rutas de la Selva Negra que va hasta Baden-Baden y en la cual hay muchas excursiones.
